Annapurna Studios (Telugu: అన్నపూర్ణ స్టూడియోస్) is a leading Film & Television studio and production house located in Hyderabad, India. It was established in 1955 by the veteran Telugu actor Nageswara Rao Akkineni and the Studio was started in 1975. It provides various production facilities, including studio floors for set construction, outdoor sets, editing, dubbing and Digital Intermediate suites. The non-profit Annapurna International School of Film and Media is situated on the grounds of Annapurna Studios.

The entire story goes on the protection of tribal in a forest against a tiger and deadly gangsters by a forest officer Chaitanya (Akkineni Nagarjuna). Chaitanya goes to the jungle to solve the case of tiger killing the local tribal. There he meets Neeli (Tulasi) and Sanga (Rajendra Prasad) who are in deep love with each other but cannot marry due to caste problem. After going through the case, Chaitanya comes to know that the tiger is not doing any harm to the people, but there are some coward people who are doing all this. How did he eradicate the evil activities and what did he had to pay for it forms the rest of the story.

The film starts off with Sardar being taken to prison. To get out of the situation, he writes to his best man, Vikram. Vikram goes to Ananda Rao and warns him. He then kidnaps Ananda Rao's daughter Radha. He tells her that he is a police officer and they fall in love; however, she finds out that he is a goon. Nevertheless, she does not leave him but urges him to surrender. Transformed by true love, Vikram surrenders himself to the police and is imprisoned for two years. Back home, Radha tells her brother Rambabu the whole truth. To keep Radha from getting married to somebody else, he calls his friend Tommy to put on a show that Radha and Tommy love each other. Tommy misunderstands the situations and actually falls in love with Radha. When Vikram comes back, he starts working in a garage and tries to reform himself. Despite everything, Ananda Rao kicks him out of his life. After many days and events that follow, Rambabu finds out that Tommy is a smuggler. After getting released from prison, Sardar desires revenge against both Ananda Rao and Vikram, so he kidnaps Radha, Ananda Rao and Rambabu. Vikram comes at the last moment and frees all of them. As a happy ending, Ananda Rao lets Radha marry Vikram.

Retired and widowed judge Umakant Verma (Ashok Kumar) lives a wealthy lifestyle with his only son, Dr. Shashikant (Jeetendra). Gauri (Rekha), the daughter of Umakant's childhood friend, Narayan Singh (A.K. Hangal), is the lead servant in the house, but she has never been treated as a servant but rather as a family member. When Umakant makes his last will and testament, he wants Shashikant to marry Gauri. And indeed, after Umakant's death, Shashikant and Gauri get married. Soon Gauri gives birth to a boy, Ravikant (Sachin), and a few months later gets pregnant again. However, before she gives birth, she finds out that Shashikant has been seeing his former girlfriend Krishna (Asha Sachdev), not understanding that he is treating her sick daughter. One night, Krishna calls the house seeking Sashikant's help for her daughter. Gauri, who receives the call and suspects an affair, refuses to relay the message to Sashikant. Consequently, Krishna's daughter dies. An intense rift happens between Gauri and Shashikant, and Gauri leaves the house. Angry about how Gauri was responsible for Krishna's daughter's death, he does not let her take their son with her. Ravikant is brought up by his father, while Gauri gives birth to another son, Umakant (Arun Govil), and does her best to bring him up. The story follows the separate individual lives of Shashikant and Gauri and their two children.

Mass (Nagarjuna Akkineni) is an orphan, who bonds well with his landlord's son Adi (Sunil). He is behind a collegian Anjali (Jyothika) who happens to be the daughter of Vizag city's mafia don Satya (Raghuvaran). This restricts her from falling for him, as it would land him in danger but she finally gives in after some time. She suggests that he ties the knot immediately before her brother (Rahul Dev) and father try separating them. The gangsters in the process kill Mass's best friend Adi, when he tries to stop them when they try separating the lead pair, before their marriage. The hero moves into Vizag and stays in an apartment hiding his identity to take revenge on the mafia dons. Finally his quest for revenge is completed, and also he eliminates the anti-social elements in the society by killing them.

Karthik (Nagarjuna) is a rich architect in Ooty. He falls in love with Padhu (Gracy Singh). Padmavathi takes her own sweet time to accept Karthik's love. Padmavathi has a cute cousin sister Bhanu (Shriya). Bhanu encourages their love and gives courage to Padhu. When Padhu reveals about her love, her father Rama Chandraiah (K. Viswanath) resists and asks her to marry the guy he has chosen for her. Padhu flees from home and marries Karthik. Padmavathi is very eager to get back to her parents and get their blessings. Karthik and Padmavathi migrate to New Zealand and they give birth to a kid named Lucky. Padhu dies in an accident. Rama Chandraiah has a very big joint family. A few of the family members opine that inviting Karthik and his kid for a marriage to happen at their place would give an opportunity to get a closer look at Lucky. When Karthik visits Rama Chandraiah's place he gets mixed responses from different people in the house. Rama Chandraiah doesn't like Karthik and others like him. Over a period of time, Karthik impresses them all and when he was about to go back to New Zealand, Rama Chandraiah expresses his repentance for whatever happened and says that he is accepting Karthik as his son-in-law. Bhanu has fallen in love with Karthik. She meets Karthik, a widower now. She still has feelings for him. But at the same time, there is Pawan (Prabhu Deva) - a childhood friend of Bhanu - who is deeply in love with her. Karthik returns to New Zealand. Bhanu along with Pawan visits Karthik. During that period, Bhanu gets closer to Karthik. When Karthik realizes the intentions of Bhanu, he fixes Pawan as the fiancée for her. Now Bhanu is about to get married to Pawan. Bhanu loves Karthik, but Karthik hesitates to repeat the history by marrying a girl against the wishes of her family. Just as Karthik is about to leave for good with his son, Rama Chandraiah stops him from leaving and pleads him to marry Bhanu. Also, Pawan comes and pleads Karthik to marry Bhanu as he can tell that Bhanu is not happy about the marriage. The film has a happy ending with Karthik and Bhanu marrying.
