Après la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, dans les années 1970, un ancien officier SS, Milton Warren, et son épouse, tous les deux fugitifs, se sont réfugiés sur une petite île de l' Amérique du Sud pour prendre en charge un pénitencier pour femmes, dirigée par une femme sadique et cruelle. Dans ce lieu sordide, ils poursuivent en toute impunité les exactions auxquelles ils s'adonnaient sur les juifs durant la seconde guerre mondiale. Les prisonnières subissent tous les caprices des gardiens, qui les humilient, les torturent et les violent. Mais Warren, désormais surnommé "le gouverneur" et sa femme ignorent qu'un commando constitué de chasseurs de nazis s'apprête à envahir le lieu pour les abattre.

All About Anna tells the story of Anna (Gry Bay), a single woman who seeks to maintain an active sex life while staying clear of emotional involvement, after having been jilted by the love of her life, Johan (Mark Stevens). She has a relationship with Frank (Thomas Raft), but refuses to let him move in with her. When Johan shows up again after five years absence, she starts wondering how much longer she can maintain her emotional independence, and if that is what she wants. She has sex with him, loses his telephone number and cannot contact him. She ends her affair with Frank and when she is offered a job as costume designer in a French theatre, she decides to move to Paris. She leaves her flat to her flat-mate Camilla (Eileen Daly) who asks her permission to rent out the now empty room to a friend of hers. This friend turns out to be Johan, and Anna meets him as she leaves for Paris, where the local stage actors Pierre (Morten Schelbech) and Sophie (Ovidie) offer new amorous temptations, but she worries about Johan finding a new love. In the end she returns to Copenhagen and, after mistakenly thinking that Johan has been unfaithful to her, she faces her fears of commitment and is reunited with Johan.

While walking home from work, Thana, a mute seamstress in New York City's Garment District, is raped at gunpoint in an alley by a mysterious, masked attacker. She survives and makes her way back to her apartment, where she encounters a burglar and is raped a second time. Thana, her name an allusion to Greek god of death Thanatos, hits this second assailant with a small sculpture then bludgeons him to death with an iron, and carries his body to the bathtub. She goes to work the next day, and after encountering working with an iron, watching her boss Albert rip a shirt off a mannequin, she goes into shock, which worries her co-workers. However, when she looks at the trashbin at her office, she decides to dismember the burglar's corpse and throw the parts away in various locations of the city.
