Ian William Richardson, CBE (7 April 1934 – 9 February 2007) was a Scottish actor of film, stage and television.
He is well known for his portrayal of the Machiavellian Tory politician Francis Urquhart in the BBC's House of Cards (1990) television trilogy. Richardson was also a leading Shakespearean stage actor. Richardson was also familiar to American television viewers as the man in the Rolls-Royce who asks, "Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?" in commercials for this Dijon mustard.

John Gray, the local policeman, owns Bobby the Westie, but allows a shy boy called Ewan to befriend his dog. When Gray dies and is buried in the Greyfriars Kirkyard, the dog will not leave the grave, despite his fondness for Ewan. The Greyfriars gravedigger, James Brown, takes a liking to Bobby, and gives him food and protection. As a young boy, future emperor Nero witnesses the mad Emperor Caligula kill his father and exile his mother. While in exile in the pontine islands, Agrippina, his mother, sees a vision telling her that her son can become emperor, but she will have to die first. She accepts the proposal. Back in Rome, Nero, now being raised by emperor Claudius after Caligula's death, Agrippina returns. She poisons Claudius' food and Nero becomes emperor. At first, Nero cuts taxes and introduces successful programs and invades Brittania. Soon he meets a beautiful slave named Claudia Acte, and marries her, throwing off his engagement with Claudius' daughter, Claudia Octavia, telling her she can marry someone she will be happy with. Heartbroken, she arrives at an island and kills herself. Nero enjoys being married to Claudia Octavia, but soon he gradually goes mad with power and sets fire to Rome. He divorces Acte, and forces the citizens to watch hour long recitals, and at one of these, accidentally kills his new pregnant wife, Poppaea Sabina. He kills several members of the senate and orders his mother to be stabbed, where she says: "Strike the womb, for that is what bore him." Nero's madness soon causes a riot, causing himself to flee the city in disguise, and slit his wrists under the saddened embrace of Claudia Acte, his once passionate lover.

After three years in prison, Cruella de Vil (Glenn Close) has been cured of her desire for fur coats by Dr. Pavlov (David Horovitch) and is released into the custody of the probation office on the provision that she will be forced to pay the remainder of her fortune (eight million pounds) to all the dog shelters in the borough of Westminster should she repeat her crime. Cruella therefore mends her working relationship with her valet Alonso (Tim McInnerny) and has him lock away all her fur coats. Cruella's probation officer, Chloe Simon (Alice Evans), nevertheless suspects her, partly because Chloe is the owner of the now-adult Dipstick (one of the original 15 puppies of the previous film). Dipstick's mate Dottie has recently given birth to three puppies: Domino, Little Dipper, and Oddball, whereof Oddball lacks spots.

Scientist Vivien Morgan is zapped back to the medieval age and time of King Arthur and Camelot, when her scientific machine malfunctions. She is sent back along with many objects from her desk, including her laptop and boom box.
