Add to a movie listAvH: Alien vs. Hunter is a 2007 direct-to-video science fiction horror film by The Asylum starring William Katt and Dedee Pfeiffer. Much like The Asylum's other films, AvH is a "mockbuster", or a low-budget film made to capitalize on the popularity of a more widely released film using a derivative of the plot and title of the latter; in this case, it directly plaigarizes Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, a crossover between the Alien and Predator film franchises. Like that film, it deals with a suburban community being threatened by a fight between two warring extraterrestrial beings. It was released straight to DVD on December 18, 2007, one week before Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem's theatrical release, and was met with a large negative response from critics.
Synopsis
A journalist named Lee Custler (William Katt) is out jogging when a flying object passes behind him and crashes. Sheriff Joel Armstrong (Collin Brock) picks him up and they go to check it out. They find an abandoned caravan close to where the object crashed. As they discover the object and realize it is a spaceship, an Alien emerges. The Alien then chases them, after which Lee flees to the car. However Armstrong makes a stand, trips, falls and is killed by the Alien that then leaves. A terrified Tammy finds Lee and they call the local authorities but their car is destroyed by the Alien.Actors

The story begins in 1957 in the star-filled skies above California's Mojave Desert. In 1997, Los Angeles is suffering from both a heat wave and a turf war between heavily armed Colombian and Jamaican drug cartels. A Predator watches a shootout between the police and Colombians, observing as Lieutenant Michael Harrigan charges into the firefight to rescue two wounded officers and drive the Colombians back into their hideout. While the police are ordered to wait for a federal task force to arrive on the scene, the Predator crashes through a skylight and attacks the Colombians. Harrigan and his police detectives Leona Cantrell and Danny Archuleta enter against orders and find the Colombians have been slaughtered. Harrigan pursues the gang leader onto the roof and shoots him, catching a glimpse of the camouflaged Predator's silhouette, but dismissing him as an effect of the heat. Harrigan is rebuked by his superiors for his disobedience. He is also introduced to Special Agent Peter Keyes, leader of the task force who are purportedly investigating the cartels, and Detective Jerry Lambert, the newest member of Harrigan's team.

A year has passed since the battle between Gamera and the Gyaos, and Japan has struggled to rebuild its cities in the meantime. The military has kept a cautious vigil on the nation's coast, but so far Gamera has yet to return. Suddenly, a series of bizarre incidents reveal a new threat to the land of the rising sun. Five friends engage in a night of heavy drinking, fighting, and carousing at a club. Hung-over, they drunkenly stumble out of Robin's house, where they crashed for the night, and discover that nobody on their street has mobile phone service or power. They are confronted by an apparently deranged tramp who insists that they are in danger from people with a purple mark. When a city-sized spaceship hovers over Derby, the city begins to panic and society begins to break down. Michael, a lieutenant in the SAS, attempts to lead his friends to safety. He is accompanied by his new girlfriend Carrie, whom he met the previous evening at a nightclub, his best friend Robin, Robin's fiance Dana, and Vincent. They make their way to a store where their friend Pete works, but it is closed. The group rescues an immigrant from angry thugs, and Pete allows the group in through the side entrance. However, a riot breaks out when the crowd sees them gathering supplies, and looters attempt to steal their groceries. Michael frightens off the looters with a pistol, and the friends head back to Robin's house.

In the Antarctic, a Norwegian helicopter pursues an Alaskan Malamute to an American research station. Upon landing the helicopter, a Norwegian accidentally drops a thermite charge, destroying the helicopter. The surviving Norwegian pursues the dog, firing a rifle, until he is killed by Garry, the station commander. The Americans send a helicopter pilot, MacReady, and Dr. Copper to the Norwegian camp for answers, but they find only a charred ruin. Outside, they discover the burned remains of a humanoid corpse with two faces, which they bring back along with some video footage. Their biologist, Blair, performs an autopsy on the corpse, finding a normal set of human internal organs.

Le policier Mark Corley est avec son fils Trent dans le métro et assiste à l'invasion de Los Angeles par des extra-terrestres. Audrey, la conductrice de métro reçoit un message l'avertissant de ne pas regarder une lumière bleue. Or Trent, ignorant ce message l'a vu et est hypnotisé. C'est l'intervention de son père qui l'a retenu de toutes ses forces, l'empêchant ainsi d'être aspiré contrairement aux autres personnes qui ont regardées cette lumière. Mark aide ensuite un petit groupe de survivants à quitter la ville envahie par les extra-terrestres mais au cours de leur périple ils sont capturés et enfermés à bord d'un vaisseau spatial alien. Séparé du groupe de survivants, Mark rencontre un extra-terrestre différent des autres, celui-ci se bat du côté des humains qui est en fait Jarrod du film précédent. Mark rencontre ensuite Elaine, la femme de Jarrod, enceinte et sur le point d'accoucher, il l'aide à faire naître leur enfant qui s'avère être une petite fille qui grandit très vite et se révèle avoir des dons. Mark retrouve ensuite son fils qui se fait décerveler par des tentacules hostiles afin de devenir un soldat extra-terrestre, la conductrice de métro et l'aveugle noir et ensemble ils se battent tous contre le chef des aliens. Au cours de la bagarre, l'astronef finit par échouer au Laos. L'aveugle noir succombe à ses blessures tandis que Mark et la conductrice de métro qui tient dans ses bras la petite fille rencontrent deux asiatiques, Sua et Kanya. Ces derniers, un frère et une sœur qui appartiennent au triangle d'or, s'aident mutuellement pour combattre la menace extraterrestre. Ils se réfugient dans un temple bouddhiste où Mark, Audrey et la jeune fille rencontrent un scientifique du nom de Harper. Celui-ci a trouvé un remède contre les effets de la lumière hypnotique dans le sang de la jeune fille. Avec ce remède versé dans une seringue, Mark s'infiltre dans le vaisseau extra-terrestre et parvient à l'injecter dans une bombe extraterrestre qui rend la conscience à tous les humains qui ont été transformés en alien et tue le chef des envahisseurs. Dix ans plus tard, le bébé qui est devenu adulte est à la tête de la résistance humaine, traquant les extra-terrestres jusqu'au confins de l'univers pour les éliminer.
