Synopsis
Joe Lo Monaco is an owner of a vessel which has inside a large casino. A band of evildoers exploits man to have earnings about gambling on roulette, so Lo Monaco really wants to destroy the ship, but he finds out that the boat is assured and that destroying it would lose a lot of money. In London meanwhile the trickster Charleston is arrested for being found with a false identity. However, he manages to escape from prison as soon as he was offered the job of helping Lo Monaco from evildoers ...Actors

Somewhere in Spain, off-road race car driver Ben (Spencer) is anticipating the next rallycross race he will be in, because of the prize—a red Puma dune buggy with yellow top. However, he does not count on "The Kid" (Hill) entering the competition, and he also has a talent for the sport—and an eye on that same dune buggy. During the race, each man battles furiously to the finish line. But in a surprise, they both end up tying for first place, and they are both awarded the dune buggy. They run from their cars and touch the buggy at the same time. Of course, sharing is out of the question, so they soon get to a serious discussion as to how it should be decided as to who gets the buggy. Finally they decide to bet it in a "beer and sausages" duel in a luna park pub, in which "the first one that blow up lose the car and pay the tab" .

At a psychiatric hospital, former Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus (Herbert Lom) is largely recovered from his obsession to kill the new Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Peter Sellers) and is about to be released when Clouseau, arriving to speak on Dreyfus' behalf, drives Dreyfus insane again. Dreyfus promptly escapes from the asylum and once again tries to kill Clouseau by planting a bomb while the Inspector (by periodic arrangement) duels with his manservant Cato (Burt Kwouk). The bomb destroys Clouseau's apartment and injures Cato, but Clouseau himself is unharmed, being lifted from the room by an inflatable disguise. Determining a more elaborate plan is needed, Dreyfus enlists an army of criminals to his cause and kidnaps nuclear physicist Professor Hugo Fassbender (Richard Vernon) and the Professor's daughter Margo (Briony McRoberts), forcing the professor to build a "doomsday weapon" in return for his daughter's freedom.

In the fictional country of Lugash, a mysterious thief seizes the Pink Panther diamond and leaves a white glove marked with a gold-tinted "P". With its national treasure once again missing, the Shah of Lugash requests the assistance of Inspector Clouseau (Peter Sellers) of the Sûreté, as Clouseau had recovered the diamond the last time it was stolen. A bank is simultaneously attacked by two groups of robbers: three high-tech professionals and two rustic buffoons. One bystander is quickly shot and killed, apparently by accident, and seven hostages taken. One of the hostages, an obsessive-compulsive customer, notices several puzzling details, from which he guesses that the coincidence was intentional: the robbers (among others) were lured here, with misleading blueprints and defective equipment, so that another criminal – at the top of the FBI's wanted list of bank robbers – could kill them to cover his own trail.

On Christmas, we meet foster brothers John and Charlie. They work as transit cops patrolling the New York City subway. When a mugging occurs, John and Charlie chase the mugger into a subway tunnel, and all trains traveling in their direction are halted. But their harsh transit captain Donald Patterson, allows the money train to continue. John and Charlie avoid getting hit by the train; however, when transit police at the next station witness the mugger running toward the money train, they shoot him dead. The mugger is revealed to be a young teenage boy, which triggers a brawl between John, Charlie, and the other transit officers. Patterson blames the two for causing his money train to arrive late.

In 1971, a policeman catches Elmo McElroy, a recent college graduate with a degree in pharmacology, smoking marijuana. Because of his arrest and conviction, he is unable to find work as a pharmacologist. In the present day, a drug lord called "the Lizard" calls a meeting of his organisation, hoping to sell a brand new substance invented by Elmo. The meeting goes badly when Elmo, in a bid to escape from the Lizard's control, blows up the building, killing everyone but the Lizard. Vengeful, the Lizard contacts Dakota, a contract killer, who previously killed the only witness in a case against the Lizard. Dakota initially refuses the hit, but accepts when the Lizard offers to clear her gambling debts and give her a $250,000 bonus.
