Comedown is a 2012 British urban horror film directed by Menhaj Huda, and written by Steven Kendall. Dubbed "Kidulthood meets Saw", the film stars Jacob Anderson, Adam Deacon and Geoff Bell in the lead roles. It premiered on 4 October 2012, at film festival Grimmfest, but was not released to cinemas on general release, and instead was expected to be released direct-to-DVD on 11 March 2013. The film was shot on a budget of $2,000,000, and was filmed in a suburb of London close to the O2 Arena.
Synopsis
Six friends, who've known each other from childhood, break into the tower block they lived in as kids, now deserted and condemned, to rig-up a pirate radio station, get high and party. When one of the group goes missing, her friends begin to search the dark interior of the tower and soon realize that they are not alone: a resident psychopath lurks in the shadows and is hunting them down, taking them out, one-by-one.Actors

Set in 2002, the film follows two days in the lives of a group of 15-year olds from a mixed-income area of West London. The story focuses mainly upon the antihero Trevor, known as "Trife" (Aml Ameen), and Alisa (Red Madrell), his sometime partner. One of the themes of the movie is Alisa's pregnancy. Marie, a 15-year-old girl, lives with Kathy, her mother, and occasionally babysits for her next door neighbor, Filthy, a poacher who is widely rumored to have murdered his wife. Marie and Kathy have been drifting apart, and there are unresolved issues between them. Kathy's behavior has been erratic, and Marie believes that her mother plans to leave her. When Filthy's young son, Sean, spontaneously dies of apparently natural causes while Marie is babysitting him, Marie becomes obsessed with her neighbor and begins to think that his stories about spirits in the hills may be true. Filthy, devastated by the loss of his son, reacts furiously when Marie loots his traps and breaks into his house to steal Sean's favorite toy. When Marie states that she needs these items in order to appease the spirits and contact his dead son, Filthy initially dismisses the myths as idle stories he told Sean. However, Filthy eventually comes to believe Marie and commits suicide to be with son, whom he believes to be lonely. Before he dies, Filthy urges Marie to return to her own father, and Marie realises that she has repressed her mother's suicide; instead of living with her mother, she has been working through her grief and denial while ignoring her father. Having come to terms with this loss, Marie reunites with her father.
