Dog Jack is a 2010 film based on the book of the same name by Florence W. Biros. The story is based on the true story of the mascot of the 102nd Pennsylvania Regiment
The story revolves around an escaped slave boy named Jed (Benjamin Gardner) who joins the Union Army during the American Civil War. He is accompanied by his dog Jack (the namesake of the story) who becomes the mascot of the regiment during the war.
The film was shot mostly in and around the borough of Darlington, Pennsylvania just outside the city of Pittsburgh. Other locations included North Freedom, Wisconsin, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.
It was an official selection in the St. Louis International Film Festival, Black Harvest Film Festival, San Francisco Black Film Festival, and the International Family Film Festival. It won Best Drama at the San Diego Black Film Festival.
It premiered at Pittsburgh's Soldiers and Sailors National Military Museum and Memorial, which was one of the shooting locations of the film. Dog Jack had a limited theatrical release before releasing nationwide on DVD January 31, 2012 by Screen Media Films, available at Redbox, Family Video, Walmart, Target, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, among others.

Morgan Leafy is a British diplomat and works in the small African state of Kinjanja, in the process of decolonisation. In the late 21st century, an interstellar war between humans (associated as the Bilateral Terran Alliance, or BTA) and Dracs (a Hermaphroditic humanoid race) is fought. Battles are periodically fought between fighter spacecraft, and no human pilot hates the Dracs more than Willis E. Davidge (Dennis Quaid). While on a routine patrol on United States airspace west of Alaska, pilots Doug "Thumper" Masters and Matt "Cobra" Cooper test the g-forces of their F-16C planes. Their antics get them carried away, as they stray over Soviet airspace. As they are being escorted back into U.S. airspace, one of the Soviet planes has Doug on missile-lock. This leads to a brief dogfight. In the ensuing battle, Matt loses control of his plane and is too late to save Doug, who is shot down by the Soviets. The next day, the U.S. Secretary of Defense publicly denies the incident, claiming a training accident caused by a fuel system malfunction killed Doug. This later revealed in Iron Eagle on the Attack that Doug actually survived by ejecting before his aircraft exploded and became a POW for a few years until released on goodwill.

Jay has been brought by a bandit named Bhavani Singh, and is now known and feared as Sher Singh; Vejay is the Senapati of none other than Malwa's Maharaj, Diler Jung, the son of Shamsher. Everyone's path will collide, albeit unknowingly, when they confront each other and race to be the first to take possession of the hidden wealth.

Paul and Hélène, a wealthy Parisian couple, are preparing to go out for the evening. While driving, they see three men chasing a prostitute down the street. She begs them to save her by letting her into the car, but Paul locks the doors and drives away as the three men savagely beat her, leaving her unconscious in the street. En Yougoslavie, en 1943, pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, une doctoresse allemande, Helga Reinbeck (Maria Schell), rencontre, par hasard, à Bielo Jezero, son fiancé, l'adjudant-chef Martin Berger (Carl Möhner) qui doit bientôt rejoindre le front. Mais elle est appelée par une jeune paysanne, Militza (Barbara Rütting), pour soigner un enfant malade dans les environs. En vérité ce n'est qu'un subterfuge pour la mettre au service d'un groupe de partisans commandé par Boro (Bernhard Wicki) où elle doit soigner le médecin des résistants qui a été gravement blessé. On lui promet d'être libérée si elle le sauve mais il meurt. Après bien des épreuves, une sympathie réciproque se crée entre la femme médecin, les francs-tireurs et surtout leur chef. Sherer (Horst Hächler), un lieutenant allemand blessé prisonnier des maquisards l'accuse de trahison. Elle le soigne, le guérit et lui propose de s'évader avec lui mais il s'enfuit seul. Lors d'une épidémie de typhus qui frappe les maquisards, un parachutiste anglais qui devait leur rapporter les médicaments est blessé et tombe derrière les lignes allemandes. Helga et Militza retrouvent l'officier britannique dans une cave mais surprises par Martin et les allemands Militza est abattue. Helga Reinbeck, n'écoutant que son cœur et son devoir de médecin, ramène les médicaments qu'elle était allée chercher derrière les lignes. En passant sur un pont exposé au feu des troupes allemandes et des maquisards qui s'affrontent, elle y laisse la vie.
