The script, penned by Acharya himself, was one of the eight scripts selected for Mumbai Mantra-Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab 2012, chosen through an evaluation process of submissions from around the world, including the United States and France. Newcomer, Rhea Chakraborty, has been roped in to play a pivotal role. Ali Fazal is paired opposite Rhea while Raghav Juyal makes his acting debut with this film. The film was released on 17 October 2014.
Synopsis
Set in the cable internet turf war of Mumbai, Sonali Cable is the story of a ghetto girl and her ‘internet boys’, who take on a greedy conglomerate that’s out to decimate their spirit of enterprise.Actors

Harvinder (Govinda) is a 40-year-old man living in London with his parents Laxminarayan Srivastav (Anupam Kher) and Maya Srivastav (Smita Jaykar), an ardent lover of the lord. Tony (Bobby Deol), works as a hit-man for gangster, Vikas Patil (Ashish Vidyarthi), who owes his allegiance to wealthy Raj Mallya (Kabir Bedi). Then a scandal breaks out, and Hargobind is implicated in the deaths of three children that were killed by Raj's spurious drugs. All the evidence points against Hargobind, and not a single lawyer is willing to take his case; his wife kills herself, and the marriage of his daughter has been canceled. Then Tony finds out that Hargobind is none other than Sapna's dad – and he has ruined the only chance he had for marrying the girl of his dreams.
