The film is based on Carl Hiaasen's novel of the same name, and is about a stripper who becomes involved in both a child-custody dispute and corrupt politics.
Striptease was generally reviled by critics. It wound up winning several Golden Raspberry Awards, which are given to the worst in cinema. Among these awards given to Striptease was the Award for Worst Picture of 1996.
Synopsis
The film revolves around former FBI secretary Erin Grant, who loses custody of her young daughter Angela to her ex-husband Darrell. In order to afford an appeal, Erin becomes a stripper at the Eager Beaver, a Miami strip club. A Congressman named David Dilbeck visits the club and immediately begins to adore Erin. Aware of Dilbeck's embarrassing indulgences, another Eager Beaver patron approaches Erin with a plan to manipulate the Congressman to settle the custody dispute in Erin's favor. However, Dilbeck has powerful business connections who want to ensure he remains in office. Consequently, those who can embarrass him in an election are murdered. Meanwhile, Erin retrieves her daughter from her negligent husband.Actors

NYC dress manufacturer Jack (Warden) is in debt to loan shark "Mr Eddie" (Kiel), who tells him that Jack's son Bobby (O'Neal) must join the firm as "new blood", despite Bobby's complete lack of knowledge of the dress business, and current career as a Professor of American Literature at a small liberal arts college. Kidnapped by two of Eddie's goons, Bobby is forced to come back to the city and join his father's business. Bobby complicates matters by falling in love with Mr Eddie's neglected wife, the cultured Lira (Melato). After a late-night tryst at the home of Eddie and Lira, Bobby accidentally invents the solution to his father's problem: see-through denim blue jeans with strategically placed holes in the rear that expose one's backside. The fickle public goes crazy over the "sexy" new style. "Fine Fashions" repays its debt to Eddie, and Bobby goes back to his college. However, Lira follows him, and Eddie finds out about them and heads to the school in a murderous rage. Jack follows anxiously, and the last quarter of the film involves Lira stepping in for an ill singer to perform the role of Desdemona in the school's version of the opera Otello. Eddie knocks out the male lead and himself takes the role of Othello. Jack and Bobby then do their best to stay alive while trying to protect Lira from her jealous husband.

La première opération réussit, le trio dépense son argent dans un hôtel de luxe. Les relations entre les trois personnages tournent vite au ménage à trois. Mais Claire pense à son avenir, et sait qu'une fois l'argent dépensé, ils n'auront plus rien, il leur faut donc refaire une nouvelle grosse opération, mais cette fois McTeague n'est pas décidé à se laisser faire et compte bien éliminer ce trio qui le gène dans son propre trafic. On va donc vers une confrontation majeure où tous les moyens vont être bons pour éliminer l'adversaire.

Former Army Ranger Cameron Poe is sentenced to prison for manslaughter for using excessive force on a drunk man while trying to protect his pregnant wife Tricia. Poe is paroled eight years later, and is to be released after being flown to Alabama on the Jailbird, a C-123K transport prison aircraft. Along with Poe are several other prisoners including his diabetic cellmate and friend Mike "Baby-O" O'Dell, who is being transferred (but not yet paroled) with Poe. The transfer is being overseen by U.S. Marshal Vince Larkin, as the transfer includes notorious criminal mastermind Cyrus "Cyrus The Virus" Grissom, gangster and Black Guerrilla member Nathan "Diamond Dog" Jones and mass murderer William "Billy Bedlam" Bedford for their transfer to a new Supermax prison. Larkin is approached at the last minute by DEA agents Duncan Malloy and Willie Sims, who ask for Sims to be brought aboard disguised as a prisoner so that he can extract more information from drug lord Francisco Cindino, a prisoner that is to be picked up at Carson City, Nevada en route. Larkin agrees, unaware that Malloy has hidden a gun on Sims' body.
