Synopsis
Ravissante jeune avocate, Emily Parker fait la connaissance de Billy Hytner. Le coup de foudre est immédiat. Très vite, Billy la demande en mariage et lui offre une alliance ancienne pour lui témoigner son engagement. Mais dès qu'Emily porte l'anneau, d'étranges événements se produisent : une jeune femme lui apparaît, qui prétend avoir été assassinée. Après plusieurs manifestations étranges, Emily se rend chez l'antiquaire et apprend que le bijou appartenait à Marie Salinger, morte 35 ans plus tôt. Convaincue que Marie essaie d'entrer en contact avec elle, Emily entreprend d'élucider les circonstances de son décès, mais se retrouve bientôt empêtrée dans une situation dangereuse.Actors

Alison Parker, a beautiful but severely neurotic fashion model (Raines) moves into a gorgeous Brooklyn brownstone house that has been divided into apartments. The house is inhabited on the top floor by Father Halliran (John Carradine), a reclusive blind priest who spends all of his time sitting at his open window. Professor Anirudh (Nishikant Kamath) strongly believes in science and for him things which don’t have scientific explanation do not exist. A room in his Medical Institution (the room with number 404) is rumoured to be haunted by the ghost of a student who previously stayed in that room and had committed suicide there, which he surely doesn’t believe. A rational student Abhimanyu (Rajvvir Aroraa) occupies that room and the real story starts. Abhimanyu experiences the unusual and now has to choose between what to believe and what not. Despite evidence suggesting a rational explanation to the physical events following up to the climax, the movie closes open-endedly, leaving a supernatural explanation equally likely.
