Todd Bryant (born October 8, 1963) is an American actor and stuntman who is perhaps most notable for having appeared in three Star Trek movies. He played one of the engineering cadets in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, the part of Klingon Captain Klaa in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Bryant also worked as a stunt performer on Star Trek Nemesis.

Salesman Nick Halsey (Will Ferrell) is fired from his job of 16 years following an unspecified incident in Denver related to his alcoholism. He sits in the parking garage after leaving the office, drinking from a flask. He then takes the Swiss Army Knife he was given as a farewell gift and stabs it into his supervisor's car tires, only to leave the knife (which has his name on it) and run away when he is unable to pull it back out from the tire. He immediately drives to a convenience store and buys a large amount of beer. When he returns home, he finds his wife is gone, the locks have been changed, and his belongings have been strewn all over his front lawn. His wife has left him a letter telling him that she is leaving him, also over the Denver incident, and to not contact her.

In 2025, the Time Enforcement Commission (TEC), the agency that monitors time travel, and still keeping the past safe. However, as a check and balance to TEC, a "Society for Historical Authenticity" (SHA) is established to ensure that TEC personnel do not alter history. But the Society's leader, Brandon Miller, believes he has the responsibility to change history based on a "moral obligation to right the wrongs of the past" and plans to do so by traveling back to Berlin in 1940 and killing Adolf Hitler (a scenario mentioned in the original film). TEC agent Ryan Chan is sent back to stop him, but in the resulting fight, Miller's wife Sasha, also part of the SHA, ends up dead. Miller is imprisoned in the World Penitentiary for trying to change history, and Ryan Chan begins arresting Miller's close Society friends. In Atlantic City in 1895, Ryan prevents SHA member Frank Knight from robbing Andrew Carnegie. Knight accuses the TEC of being murderers when they execute him. Ryan is haunted by memories of when his father, Josh, died of a brain aneurysm in 2002. Josh was lecturing about time travel at the University of Southern California, and had a heated debate on the morals of altering history.

As a Klingon moon, Praxis, explodes without warning, the starship USS Excelsior, commanded by Captain Hikaru Sulu, is struck by the shock wave and its crew discovers that much of the moon has been obliterated. In 1959, on board a spacecraft, two aliens race to keep an experiment from being released by a third member of the crew. The annual battle of the bands is raging. Two rival high schools, Malibu High School and Coldwater Canyon High, have two hot bands; The Firecats and Racer. When the lead singers of both bands, Piper (Evans) and Rick (Bradford), meet, they fall in love with each other and have to fight realities such as peer pressure, the fact they attend rival high schools and even Piper's older brother, Godzilla (Zagarino), try to stop their love from getting stronger. The telephone service called Lovelines, run by J.D. Prescott (Winslow), is right in the middle to help the two stay in love with each other and is also sponsoring the annual battle of the bands where their bands are competing with each other. It all comes down to a masquerade party where everyone from both schools learn that true love does indeed conquer all.

Au début des années 1960, la Ford Motor Company connait des problèmes financiers. Henry Ford II met alors la pression à ses employés pour trouver des solutions. Lee Iacocca suggère alors de relancer la marque dans l'univers de la compétition automobile. Il est alors envisagé que Ford rachète Ferrari. Mais la rencontre avec Enzo Ferrari tourne au fiasco et c'est finalement Fiat qui signe l'accord. Le « Commendatore » est même très insultant envers la marque américaine et son patron, Henry Ford II. Ce dernier, piqué au vif, en fait une affaire personnelle. Ford décide alors de faire appel à Carroll Shelby, le seul américain vainqueur des 24 Heures du Mans (en 1959). Il est chargé de construire une voiture capable d'anéantir la suprématie de Ferrari pour les 24 Heures du Mans 1966. Carroll Shelby va ainsi développer la Ford GT40 Mk II avec l'aide de Ken Miles, un pilote au caractère bien trempé qui ne plait pas trop au sein de Ford.
