After a recollection of his childhood memory in which he meets a police officer while being chased by three men, Rockstar Gautham (Mahesh Babu) kills one of the three men (Kelly Dorji) and informs the police. Inspector John Basha (Sayaji Shinde) takes him into custody. A news reporter Sameera (Kriti Sanon) who recorded the incident airs the video and shows that Gautham had imagined killing Dorji. Gautham's recollection continues and he tells the police officer that his parents were killed in a bus.
Krishna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) lives in Dubai while his family is in India. His grandmother is against him who settled in India. Krishna falls for Sneha (Sonal Chauhan) and comes to India to seek the blessings of his grandmother. Jitender (Jagapati Babu) is a man with pride and haughtiness. He cannot tolerate anyone who comes across his way. Once, he goes to a nearby village for a marriage proposal to him. There he gets involved in a quarrel with the village headman (Suman) due to some unfortunate events and gets jailed. From then onwards, he tries to take revenge on that family. He kills the family members of the village headman one-by-one. As soon as Krishna arrives in India, he gets involved in quarreling with the gang of Jitendra. When Krishna and his family members are traveling in a bus to visit a temple Jitender's hitmen shoot Krishna and his family members are beaten badly by his henchmen. Krishna's elder brother Jai Dev The Legend (Nandamuri Balakrishna) who remained exiled obeying his grandmother, saves them and Krishna is admitted in a hospital. Then the past is revealed that twenty years back there was a quarrel between Jai Dev and Jitender in which Jai Dev's cousin (Radhika Apte) whom he loved was killed by Jitender. At present, he comes to know that Jitender is going to become Chief Minister of the state.How he stops Jitender from claiming this throne forms the rest of the story.
Shankar is an orphan raised by a sincere police officer Raja Rao. In an unexpected situation, Raja Rao's son Bharath kills a kid and Shankar takes the blame on him and is imprisoned while Raja Rao warns him not to meet him again. Years later Shankar is a CI who is referred as 'Encounter' Shankar because of his track record as an encounter specialist. He is posted to Bukkapatnam town in Tadipatri, Ananthapuram and is assigned the task of ending the illegal businesses of a dreaded local don Damodar whose dream project is to build a power plant. Using his clever mind, Shankar destroys all the three main businesses of Damodar by trapping the respective in-charges of those businesses. He brings a stay on the power project by bringing few vital witnesses. On a parallel note, Shankar loves a sweet shop owner named Saroja who reciprocates his love at a later point of time.

Krishna Prasad's dream is to see his son as a politician revered by people. During this time, he meets with a fatal accident, in which his brother and his followers are also killed.
During the political realm of N. T. Rama Rao, Shankar Narayana is an independent MLA of the constituency of Shankar Nagar, which is named after him, in Hyderabad, and is regarded as a champion for the poor. When a truck collides with the car his brother Satyam and he are in, Shankar goes into a coma. Except his family, everyone else presumes that he is killed in the accident. His son Ajay is a police officer in Mumbai who fights against the mafia and is on a mission to apprehend Mafia don Nayak who is involved in illegal drug trade, extortion and arms trafficking.
Venkata Ramana (Daggubati Venkatesh) a.k.a Venky is a ventriloquist. An astrologer (M. S. Narayana) predicts that if he does not get married in one year, he will be a single man forever. He goes to Paris to show his talent to the company of Paris Prasad (Brahmanandam). Paris Prasad fools everyone and he was given a loan from a bank. But he has not repaid the loan to the bank. Venky befriends Sheikh Raj (Ali). Venky also falls in love with Pooja (Trisha Krishnan), the niece of Paris Prasad. Pooja has no feelings for Venky, but Paris Prasad tells Venky that Pooja too loves him and fools him. Slowly Pooja and Venky become friends. Pooja goes back to India and finds that her marriage has been arranged with Bhadrappa (Subbaraju), the son of her uncle, Changala Rayudu (Mukesh Rishi). Venky asks Paris Prasad for help. Prasad comes with Venky to save Pooja by telling him that Pooja loves him and wants to break the marriage. But Pooja loves an NRI named Rahul. There Venky introduces himself to everyone as Pranit and makes fools of them by giving the partnership of his factory's benefit. One day when Venky with Prasad and Pooja runs away, Bhaddrapa's uncle (Jaya Prakash Reddy) comes to know everything. He tells everyone this. Then Venky goes to his village along with Prasad, Rahul and Pooja. He introduces his family, his uncles, Narayana (Chandra Mohan) and Malesh Yadav (Kota Srinivasa Rao). After that Bhaddrapa's grandfather hatches a plan in which Venky will come with Pooja and they will kill him. But Venky ends up coming with his full family, so they could not kill him. But after coming here, Venky comes to know that Pooja loves Rahul. When Pooja's uncle attacks them, Venky saves everybody. Pooja realizes she loves Venky. Paris Prasad also realizes his mistake and gets Venky and Pooja married. After the marriage, Prasad asks Venky to give him money with which he can repay the bank loan. But Venky laughs after hearing this.
A kindhearted man, known as "Relangi mavayya" ("Relangi Uncle") by his family, lives in the village of the same name. His middle-class family consists of his wife, mother, niece Seetha and three children: two sons (Peddodu, "the elder" and Chinnodu, "the younger") and a daughter, Chinni. Peddodu is an introvert, who lives life on his own terms and is unsociable. Although Seetha wants to marry him, her love is apparently unrequited. Chinnodu is the opposite of his brother. He falls in love with Geetha, the daughter of Seetha's paternal uncle who is jealous of Chinnodu's father and denigrates his family's economic status. Although the family is close-knit, the brothers do not communicate well with each other.
The story of Andhala Rakshasi is set during 1991, centred on Surya, Gowtham and Midhuna and is about falling in love, forgetting and waiting for love. The three characters represent the three celestial bodies Sun, moon and Earth. Set in motion by the force of love, the three individuals can neither come close nor be cut off but are destined to revolve around the dear ones. In this pursuit of true love they will be thrown to destinies that they never imagined.
Rambabu (Pawan Kalyan) is a Hot-Blooded, High Tempered Mechanic who has a kind heart as well as a tendency to react to various social incidents shown or published in the electronic media. After studying his mentality, Ganga (Tamanna), a cameraman from NC Channel offers him a Job as a Journalist and he accepts it. Ex-Chief Minister Jawahar Naidu (Kota Srinivasa Rao) tries to collapse the Government and regaining the CM post and is strongly supported by his son Rana Babu (Prakash Raj), a newbie to politics. Meanwhile, a reputed Journalist Dasaradh Ram (Surya) brings the proofs and required information about the scams and atrocities committed by Jawahar Naidu, only to be brutally murdered by Rana Babu.
Nani is a young man who specialises in making fireworks. He lives in a house opposite micro artist Bindu, who runs Project 511, an NGO. Nani has been in love with Bindu for two years and has been constantly showing his love for her. Bindu too loves Nani but hides her love from him.
The film begins with Vizag being shown in 1980 in which a ladies college bus makes its scheduled bus stop. Krishna (Ram), standing at the bus stop, keeps looking at Srinidhi (Tamannaah), whom he loves, but doesn't express it. He has been doing that for the last three years but without any response from her. Srinidhi also likes Krishna, but does not reveal it, as she fears by doing so, she may put her family in trouble. On the last day of the college, Krishna decides to propose to her. So he disguises himself in a 'burqa' and boards the bus. However, the bus conductor recognises him and forces the bus driver to stop the bus. However, before he could stop it, the bus gets involved in an accident. Krishna saves Srinidhi from the mishap, but is killed in the process. Shocked about Krishna's death, Srinidhi dies at the grave of Krishna.
Rishi (Prabhas) is a happy-go-lucky son of Bhupathi (Krishnam Raju). Rishi is influenced by his father's ideals and grows up just like his father. But Bhupathi doesn't want his son to take up violence and make more enemies like him. He sends his son to Bangalore for studies and to learn music. There Rishi falls for Deepali (Deeksha Seth), an orphan and brings her to his house in the disguise of his old music teacher as he wants his father to be happy that he doesn't take up the violence. During the festivals held in their village, Simhadri (Pradeep Rawat), sends 100 thugs to kill Bhupathi and his family. Rishi saves his father by eliminating all the thugs. Bhupathi's brother (Mukesh Rishi) joins hands with Simhadri, so they can kill Bhupathi, Bhupathi's wife, and Deepali in a temple. Simhadri tells Rishi that a local goon helped Bhupathi's brother kill Bhupathi and his family. Rishi wants to destroy Bhupathi's killers, but Simhadri kills himself. In a rage, Rishi stabs Simhadri's corpse more than once. Raju (Supreet) is one of Bhupathi's bodyguards. Some of Bhupathi's bodyguards are still alive. Raju and the other bodyguards assist Rishi to get revenge.
