Troma Entertainment is an American independent film production and distribution company founded by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz in 1974. The company produces low-budget independent movies that play on 1950s horror with elements of farce. Many Troma films contain social commentary. In 2012, the company officially released many of its films on YouTube. Troma has produced, acquired and distributed over 1,000 independent films since its creation.

De jolies jeunes filles, premières de la classe et pensionnaires d'une école religieuse, sont sélectionnées pour procéder à un inventaire chez un riche collectionneur. La maison dans laquelle elles sont censées travailler est naturellement complètement isolée. Rapidement, elles apprennent qu'une autre jeune fille, également pensionnaire de leur école, a trouvé la mort dans cette même maison il y a plusieurs dizaines d'années. L'une des filles, Elizabeth, découvre justement le journal intime de la défunte ainsi qu'un tableau la représentant. Le plus étrange est que le portrait lui ressemble comme deux gouttes d'eau !

Two young men hit the road to Hollywood, CA to look for money, fame, and the wild life in this youthful comedy. After a series of murders in San Francisco that all take place inside closets, a reporter and his scientist friend decide to uncover the mystery and save California. The film contains many comical and subtle references to homosexuality. The title references the state of being a closeted gay, the creature's sudden smitteness and affection for the handsome leading man even though there is no other indication that the creature is female, and the film ends with it collapsing and dying while "marching on San Francisco."

The film begins with stock footage scenes of warfare in Vietnam. An American soldier named Frankie (Ricky Giovinazzo) is seen running alone through the jungle swamp as his voice narrates. He explains that he "goes back there every night" right before he wakes up in bed with his wife in their squalid NYC apartment located somewhere in northern Staten Island. The distorted cries of his baby are heard, and his pregnant wife wakes up to tend to the boy. They argue over Frankie's unemployment and their son's health. The baby is a mutant, portrayed by a puppet. Frankie assumes it was a result of his exposure to chemical weapons used during the war.

A brilliant professor invents a computer machine meant to better society. However, when her beautiful yet psychotic assistant gets a hold of it, she manipulates it to warp people's minds and turn them into crazed mutants. She selects three young college girls as her victims and invites them up to the professor's house for a weekend of torture and diabolical experiments. Luckily, the three girls are saved by the heroic woman only described as "Linda's Mother" (portrayed by Joan Krosche). Linda is one of the three victims.

Melvin Ferd (Mark Torgl) is a stereotypical 98-pound weakling. He works as a janitor at a health club in the fictional town of Tromaville, New Jersey where the customers—particularly Bozo (Gary Schneider), Slug (Robert Prichard), Wanda (Jennifer Babtist) and Julie (Cindy Manion)—harass him constantly. His tormentors get more and more violent until he is tricked into wearing a pink tutu and kissing a sheep. He is chased around the health club and out a second story window. He lands in a drum of toxic waste, which sets him on fire. After running down the street in a ball of flames, Melvin douses the flames in his bathtub. The chemicals cause him to transform into a hideously deformed creature of superhuman size and strength.
