Synopsis
De jolies jeunes filles, premières de la classe et pensionnaires d'une école religieuse, sont sélectionnées pour procéder à un inventaire chez un riche collectionneur. La maison dans laquelle elles sont censées travailler est naturellement complètement isolée. Rapidement, elles apprennent qu'une autre jeune fille, également pensionnaire de leur école, a trouvé la mort dans cette même maison il y a plusieurs dizaines d'années. L'une des filles, Elizabeth, découvre justement le journal intime de la défunte ainsi qu'un tableau la représentant. Le plus étrange est que le portrait lui ressemble comme deux gouttes d'eau !Actors

The film centers around a serial killer known as "The Card Player", who is kidnapping young women in Rome. Using a webcam set-up, the killer challenges the police by forcing them to play hands of Internet poker. If the police lose, the kidnapped victim is tortured and murdered on-screen. When a British tourist is among the girls murdered, policeman John Brennan (Cunningham) is assigned the case and quickly teams up with Italian detective Anna Mari (Rocca). The duo have their work cut out for them when the Police Chief's daughter (Argento) becomes the killer's latest kidnapping victim.

After a herd of reindeer are mysteriously found dead following a meteor crash in a remote part of Sweden, soldiers and a geologist are called out to investigate. Just as they discover that the meteor is actually a spaceship, a hideous monster destroys their plane and kills the soldier guarding it. As the geologist (along with his figure skater girlfriend) are trying to ski to safety, the monster attacks again and kidnaps the helpless woman.

U. S. Navy Cmdr. Charles "Chuck" Prescott (Thompson) is not sure if his brother, Lt. Dan Prescott (Edwards), is the right choice for piloting the rocket powered Y-13 to very high altitude. Capt. Ben Richards (Ayres) of the Air Force Space Command insists that Dan is their best pilot, even though when piloting the Y-12 into the ionosphere, he began experiencing flight difficulties.
