A wizard conjures a table and a box out of thin air, and then vanishes as he jumps toward the box. Pierrot emerges from the box and takes a seat, when suddenly a banquet appears on the table, but it vanishes along with the table and chair before he can eat. A man in an Elizabethan doublet taps him on the shoulder and he is transformed into a Renaissance sculptor. Lifting a half finished bust onto a pedestal he prepares to set to work on it with a hammer and chisel only for it to come to life and snatch his tools from him. He attempts to embrace the sculpture only for it to disappear and reappear in a variety of poses. Finally the Elizabethan man reappears to kick him in the rump. , 2minutes

A traveler, complete with riding boots and a pith helmet, arrives in a small hotel room. When he puts his luggage on the bed, it disappears immediately. Un Pierrot joue d'un instrument devant une bâtisse, dont sort un gentilhomme énervé par ces bruits et le menace. Pierrot se met ensuite à dépérir. Soudaine, la Lune se met à grossir, sur le croissant duquel est allongée une femme. Pierrot lui fait la cour, puis joue à nouveau de son instrument. L'homme énervé revient alors, mais cette fois-ci avec ses sbires qui tentent de l'attraper. La dame sur la Lune fait aussitôt disparaître ses acolytes et grimper Pierrot sur le croissant, puis change l'apparence du gentilhomme en personnage crasseux. Le couple disparaît, un œil remplace la Lune puis plus rien. Pendant ce temps, le gentilhomme n'est pas reconnu par ses valets, qui le rouent de coup. La Lune revient, sous la forme d'un visage et se met à rire de moquerie., 17minutes

In a laboratory, an alchemist is working with a large retort on a stove. After consulting a book, he falls asleep in a chair near the retort. As he sleeps, a giant snake comes out of the stove and transforms into a jester, who wakes the alchemist and forces him to look in a hand-mirror. When the alchemist does so, the retort grows much larger, the alchemist falls back to sleep, and a giant spider with a human face appears inside the retort. The spider dissolves into a young woman sprinkling coins onto the ground. Sparks escape from the retort and transform into a ghost. The alchemist wakes in terror, and the giant retort explodes. Two assistants run to the alchemist, who has fallen prostrate on the ground. The jester reappears and stands triumphant over the fallen alchemist.
