Synopsis

A peine sorti de prison, Ulrick tente de se réinsérer. Il n'a pas d'ambition particulière, il veut juste prendre un nouveau départ. Mais entre son ex patron mafieux, sa logeuse qui le harcèle sexuellement, son fils qui ne veut pas le voir et bien d'autres péripéties, Ulrick a du mal à trouver sa place. C'est un chic Type.... Mais jusqu'à quel point ?

Novembre 1999. Après le décès de son épouse, Trond Sander, âgé de 67 ans, s'est retiré d'Oslo dans un petit village de l'est de la Norvège. Nils (Stellan Skarsgård) is a snow plough driver somewhere in Norway. He learns that his son has died, supposedly of a heroin overdose.
