Hatachi No Binetsu (二十才の微熱, A Touch of Fever, The Slight Fever of a Twenty Year Old) is a Japanese film directed by Ryosuke Hashiguchi, starring Yoshihiko Hakamada and Masashi Endo, released in 1993.

Synopsis

Deux étudiants, Tatsuru et Shin, travaillent dans un bar gay de Tokyo. Si Shin assume son homosexualité et s'éprend de Tatsuru, ce dernier en revanche a du mal à trouver sa sexualité. Nous suivons, au cours de quelques semaines, leurs relations, entre eux, avec les filles, leurs copains, les clients du bar jusqu'au moment où un homme les achète pour faire l'amour dans une chambre d'hôtel, ce qui va révéler leurs émotions refoulées.

Naoya vit sa vie d'homosexuel, replié sur lui-même, accompagné par ce sentiment étrange que quelque chose manque à sa vie. Par hasard, il rencontre Katsuhiro et en tombe immédiatement amoureux. Tous deux commencent à se fréquenter quand apparaît Asako, une jeune femme qui propose à Katsuhiro de faire un enfant. Naoya, ne pouvant envisager une telle chose, est agacé par Katsuhiro, par son caractère indécis et la façon dont il dissimule son homosexualité. Le frère de Katsuhiro et sa belle-sœur choisissent ce moment difficile pour leur rendre visite. Cette dernière est en effet préoccupée par le risque de dispersion des biens de la famille : elle connaît le passé d'Asako et cherche à mettre un terme à sa relation avec Katsuhiro.
