After the surprise big hit of Farz as a spy thriller, Sagar came out with a bigger budget film in the same genre, shot in many international locations. The film stars Mala Sinha, Dharmendra, Mehmood, Lalita Pawar, Jeevan and Madan Puri. The music is by Ravi and the lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi. It was estimated to be the most profitable Indian film of 1968 in India.
Ankhen is considered to be a pioneer in Hindi spy films. It was initially planned to be shot when Dharmendra had just one film. But the director Ramanand Sagar had apprehensions of casting him since he was considered raw and was not yet a star; therefore he recruited a huge star of the period, Mala Sinha, opposite him for marketing considerations. With the success of Phool Aur Paththar, Sagar decided to increase his budget and finalize Dharmendra as the leading man.
Synopsis
Shortly after independence India faces terrorists attacks in Assam, resulting in many deaths and casualties. A group of concerned citizens, who are not connected with the government, decide to do something to stop this carnage. While Salim is already at work in Beirut, his cover is blown and he is shot dead. Now Sunil Mehra must travel to Beirut and take over. Once there, he meets a former flame, Meenakshi Mehta, and a female admirer by the name of Zenab.Actors

Kamla (Mala Sinha) was a successful stage performer and lives with her widowed father Dindayal (Nasir Hussain) in Delhi. She works under the company owned by Kunver Shamsher Singh (Sujit Kumar) who wants to marry her but couldn't express his feelings. After a heavy schedule she wants to take break and goes to Kulu. There she becomes interested in local cattle herder Sarju (Rajendra Kumar) after listening to his song. They spent time together and Kamla gradually becomes fascinated by him. Before she starts back, Sarju finally proposes her and she gladly accepts. But question arises regarding their different back grounds and at last Kamla agrees to come and stay with him in Kulu. She returns to Delhi to finish her committed shows.

Two battle hardened brothers, one in the Royal Indian Air Force (RIAF) and the other in the Royal Indian Army get ready to face and fight the stubborn Japanese invaders in Burma during World War II while falling in love with the same girl (Mala Sinha). India is in a state of war with Japan and former Colonel Kapoor's sons, Rajan and Ram are both with the Indian Armed Forces. While Rajan is a Wing Commander with the Indian Air Force, Ram is a Major with the Indian Army. Rajan is in love with a doctor named Usha Choudhury, and both plan to get married. Then Usha meets with Ram, who unknowingly falls head over heels in love with her. Before anything can be finalized, Rajan is asked to bomb a secret Japanese airport located in a mountainous valley. While carrying out his duties, he finds out that his mission has been compromised, unable to return, his plane is shot down and he is believed to be dead. The Indian Army wants to destroy this secret airport and sends a crack Commando unit under Major Ram, who sets out to carry out this task. What Ram does not know is that this mission has also been compromised and he and his men are all set to walk into a carefully planned trap by the Japanese - who will ensure that no one survives to tell this story.

Ramniklal was a NRI living in Uganda with his son Vijay (Dharmendra) and daughter Radha (Aruna Irani). They are planning to move back to India because of a civil war in the country. The night they were about to move, their home is attacked by rebels and set on fire. Vijay jumps in the fire to save his sister. He carries a woman out, but she turns out to be the housemaid in his sister's clothes (Radha asked the maid to choose the clothes she liked before she left and the maid asked her for the clothes she was wearing). Vijay's father dies from the trauma of losing his daughter. Vijay too believes that Champa burned with the house, but when no body is found he feels that there is something fishy. Nevertheless, he leaves for India alone as the country is embroiled in civil war.

When a mission to retrieve a stolen suitcase bomb goes bad, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) agent Kevin Pope (Rock) is killed. Maxwell "Max" Smart, an analyst for the top secret American intelligence agency, CONTROL, yearns to become a field agent like his idol, Agent 23. James Bond is driving from Lake Garda to Siena, Italy, with the captured Mr. White in the boot of his car. After evading pursuers, Bond and M interrogate White regarding his organization, Quantum. The film opens with a ski chalet party sequence in Gstaad where Hubert Bonisseur de La Bath aka OSS 117 is entertaining a Chinese countess. The party is attacked by Red Chinese gunmen working for a Mr. Lee and everyone but Hubert and the Countess are killed.
