Avenging Angel is a 1985 film directed by Robert Vincent O'Neil and written by Robert Vincent O'Neil with Joseph Michael Cala.
The movie is a sequel to 1984's Angel and was followed by the 1988 film Angel III: The Final Chapter and Angel 4: Undercover. It was a box-office failure, as were the other two.
Rory Calhoun claimed Donna Wilkes did not reprise the role she had originated because the producers refused to pay her the salary she wanted. The film is rated R in U.S. for adult language, violence, and nudity.

Set, like the previous films, in the fictional port town of Blue Bay, Marie Clifton (Laine) is set to inherit two beautiful diamonds, called the "mother and daughter". "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to violence." Billy Lynch (Jimmy McNichol) is a high school student who has been raised by his aunt since age three, after his parents died in a violent car accident. Corky (Gina Gershon), an ex-con who has just finished a five-year jail sentence, arrives at an apartment building to start work as a painter and plumber. On her way up to the apartment, she encounters the couple who live next-door, Violet (Jennifer Tilly) and Caesar (Joe Pantoliano). After Caesar has gone out, Violet flirts with Corky and asks her to help retrieve an earring that has fallen down her sink. After Corky extracts the earring, Violet admits she lost it on purpose in order to get closer to Corky, and starts to seduce her. A quiet girl, Madeleine (Christina Lindberg), is sexually assaulted during her childhood, and the trauma makes her mute. One day when she is older she accepts a ride from a man, Tony (Heinz Hopf), who makes her a heroin addict, and then becomes her pimp. To hide the fact that she was kidnapped, the Pimp writes hateful letters to the parents who become so distraught they commit suicide. At one point, she is stabbed in the eye for refusing a client. Madeleine then begins saving money to purchase a car to escape and take lessons in driving, shooting, and martial arts in order to take revenge.
