The film features background score and soundtrack composed by V. Harikrishna and cinematography handled by Shekar Chandru. Producer V. Ravichandran released the teaser trailer on 31 May 2012 at Gold Finch Hotel. The film released on 11 April 2013. The film also released in Dubai and other middle eastern countries on 18 April 2013. It released in Germany on 22 June 2013, in Perth on 30 June 2013, Melbourne on 6 July 2013, Adelaide on 27 July 2013, in California on 1 November 2013. After its massive success in the Karnataka, the movie is released in Hindi on 2 August 2014 by RKD Studios, who have secured the sole and exclusive rights for all Northern Indian Languages of the film. Telugu dubbed version of the film is releasing on 17 May 2014 by Bheemavaram Talkies produced by Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana. The movie became a Blockbuster.
Synopsis
Bachchan is a simple revenge drama, but it has interesting twists and turns, which make you watch it sitting on the edge of the seat. The story has also made brief references to the current political developments, the issue of alleged mining in Bellary and its adverse effects on the common man.Actors

The movie begins with a girl collecting funds for an organisation in Singapore. A goon gives her money and then chases her at night when she goes home. Then Vijay (Sudeep), enters and resolves the conflict without fighting. The girl introduces herself as Manasa (Ranya Rao). They slowly become friends. But one day she asks Vijay to leave her and go as she cannot stand the separation from him if their relationship develops any further. He then goes back to India and changes the mind of Manasa's brother and when they give a vacation he goes with him to his village. There, where everyone are conservative in nature, he changes their nature and makes them more lovable.

The film starts with a flashback. ACP Varadhanayaka (Sudeep) is a sincere police officer happily married and lives with his parents and younger brother Hari (Chiranjeevi Sarja). Hari is a college student and he falls in love with his classmate Sirisha (Nikeesha Patel). Enter Section Shankar (P. Ravi Shankar) the villain who is notorious for settlements and land deals. Sirisha comes across ACP Varadhanayaka when she is on a field trip from her college with her friends. Kempe Gowda(Sudeep) is a sub-inspector in a dusty village of Rona in Hubli in North Karnataka, his native, where he is adored. His bumbling colleague Pashupati(Sharan) is cheerful and always helps him with his work. A beautiful girl Kaavya (Ragini Dwivedi) comes to his village. Eventually Kempegowda and Kaavya fall in love with each other. Armugam(P. Ravi Shankar), a notorious criminal, is brought down to his knees at the local police station. Their egos clash and Armugam, who has never had to face an opposition before, decides to teach Kempegowda a lesson. He is transferred to Bangalore, after being promoted as an Inspector, where Armugam's wits run large. His sub co worker Bose employs him at the Magadi Road Police Station. The Karnataka Home Minister C Ashok is pleased with Kempegowda and appoints him in all the activities responsible for the city, and posts him as the Assistant Commissioner of Police of the Anti Kidnapping Force.As the cop begins to unearth Armugam's misdeeds, he realizes that he is up against a real challenge. In return Kempegowda kills Vaikunta (J. Karthik) Armugam's younger brother. This infuriates Armugam who begins targeting many people who are close to Kempegowda including Kaavya whom he shoots but is saved by Kempegowda and Bose who is hacked to death by Armugam's henchmen. Finally in a bid to escape the arrest warrant issued out to him, Armugam kidnaps the Tamil Nadu Home Minister's daughter. He falsely tells Kempegowda that he is going to Mangalore with her when he is actually going to Nellore in Andhra Pradesh to put the police off the track. Kempegowda and his officers pursue Armugam and his henchmen near Nellore and kills all of the henchmen. He saves the Tamil Nadu Home Minister's daughter and kills Armugam in an encounter. In the end as the post credits roll, it is revealed that Kempegowda is resigning from the police force and together he and Kaavya are going back to Hubli. They are also happily married.
