Bad Habits is the debut feature from director and writer Dominic Deacon starring Sandra Casa and London Gabraelle. The film had its premiere at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival in Australia 2009 and won Best Screenplay and Best Female Actress. The film also won Best Australian Feature Film at the Sexy International Film Festival.
Synopsis
Sister Marie Fenche is a woman on the verge of collapse. Unable to distinguish reality from fantasy, Marie's life is thrown into turmoil when she awakens one morning, alone in a room with a corpse in the bathtub. The truth is not even Marie knows for sure. Marie's only grounding in this confused world is Jamie, an innocent young nun who is both equally enamored and repulsed by her. Jamie can only help so much, however, and Marie's world comes crashing down when she encounters a mysterious stranger who triggers dark and dangerous memories. Unable to sleep and addled by pills Marie releases her final grip on reality as her dementia leads her deeper and deeper into a world of violence, sex and drugs.Comments

Après le braquage sanglant d'une banque, trois malfrats, menés par Aldo, s'enfuient en voiture pour trouver rapidement une planque avant la mise en place de barrages de police. En attendant l'arrivée du bus scolaire censé récupérer les filles, qu'ils veulent voler pour continuer leur fuite, les trois braqueurs se livrent aux pires exactions envers leurs otages. Après avoir tué la bonne à coups de fer à repasser, ils violent la nonne et certaines élèves avant d'en abattre une. Assoiffées de vengeance, sœur Christina et les autres victimes se vengent d'eux en les assassinant un par un.

The film begins with a man named Conrad von Starke (Adriano Micantoni) the Commandant driving down a road, listening to a war crimes trial on the radio. He stops the car and exits at the ruins of an old death camp. There he meets Lise Cohen (Daniela Poggi). It is revealed that Lise is a former prisoner of the camp and the commandant has arranged to meet her several years after World War II, to thank her for testimony she provided which saved him from certain death. Lise and the Commandant make love.

The story involves the power struggles and sexual intrigues of a group of good-looking nuns at the Sant Arcangelo Convent and in particular the machinations of Sister Julia (played by former Miss Great Britain Anne Heywood) as she attempts, by any means possible, to succeed to the position of the dying Mother Superior. The nuns struggle with their vows of celibacy, some inclining to lesbianism whilst others invite male lovers secretly into their cells. Meanwhile a corrupt church hopes to benefit from an aristocratic donation to the Convent, before launching an inquisition into the lubricious and corrupt activities of the inmates of the Convent. There then follow graphic scenes of torture as miscreant nuns are stripped naked and tortured with a variety of devices in order to elicit a confession of their misdemanours. The film ends with a resonant condemnation of the power hungry and corrupt church by Sister Julia after she has been found guilty and compelled to take poison to end her life.

She encounters a lesbian mother superior, lecherous archbishops, and uncovers many dark secrets. The convent also practices brutal discipline and encourages masochistic rituals such as self-flagellation. In one scene, two nuns are forced to strip to the waist and whip each other severely with heavy floggers. Later, Takigawa is tortured and whipped by a group of nuns armed with rose-thorns.

Renouncing her sinful past Emanuelle (Laura Gemser) moves into a convent and becomes a nun, dedicating her life to religion and rejecting sin. Monika has a sexual relationship with another sister and blackmails her (by refusing sex) if she does not comply with her demands. Later a mysterious man, armed with a gun visits the convent. He has sex with Monika; witnessed by most nuns in the convent. Monika is later dismissed. Emanuelle later leaves at her own free-will.
