Behind the Mask: The Unauthorized DVD is a 2002 unauthorized documentary film about the American heavy metal band Slipknot. This one sided disc charts the creation and rise of the band. It has neither subtitles nor closed captions on the release. The documentary looks at the band's early days, their rise to fame, and what they mean to their fans. Due to licensing restrictions, the film features no music or performances by Slipknot.

The film begins with the introduction of Bharata Natyam since its inception. It also explains the various hand gestures, known as Mudra and Bala demonstrates one of them, "Mayura Mudra" ("Peacock Mudra"). Narrated by Satyajit Ray, the film describes Bala's lineage and her debut performance in 1925, at the age of seven, at Kancheepuram at the Kamakshi Amman Temple. A noted Sanskrit scholar and musicologist explains Bala's dancing style and an Indian dancer, Uday Shankar mentions about his association with Bala.

On le sait, les stars de la chanson française, en général, n'ont pas été trop intimidées - ni inquiétées - par l'occupant allemand. Certaines, d'ailleurs, se sont empressées de séduire les oreilles pétainistes et nazies. Fallait-il, ou non, continuer à chanter? Cette activité pouvait-elle passer pour une forme de collaboration?
