Starring Arak Amornsupasiri, Yarinda Bunnag, Krissana Sreadthatamrong and Sansanee Wattananukul, it features the story of Keng, a young veterinarian who, during giving computer classes to a group of seniors as part of a community service sentence, comes to know an elderly couple, Jamras and Sompit, who are rediscovering romance late in life. As Keng helps Jamras and Somphit with their problems, he learns from them and forms a relationship with his former school crush and friend's ex-wife, Fai. The film received multiple national awards and was Thailand's submission to the 82nd Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.

The film was released in 2001 and is set in 1996, when the real team competed and won the national championships in Thailand. The two main characters, Mon and Jung, play two gay transvestites, who had been constantly overlooked by volleyball coaches because of their appearance. However, when a local team changes coaches, the new coach holds tryouts for a new team. When Mon and Jung are selected, most of the old players resign, leaving the new coach, Coach Bee, in a sticky predicament.

September 1944. Several days before Finland, a co-belligerent of Nazi Germany, pulls out of the Continuation War against the Soviet Union, Veikko (Ville Haapasalo), a Finnish soldier, is turned in by his Finnish and German compatriots for being a pacifist and, in their eyes, a would-be deserter. As a punishment, the young man is placed in shackles, chained to a rock outcrop in a remote Lapland forest, left with nothing but a few supplies, rifle and ammunition - effectively made a forced Kamikaze kukushka sniper. To ensure his willingness to fight, they dress him in the uniform of the Waffen-SS, as Soviet soldiers felt little mercy towards SS men. Days pass, and after several failed attempts, Veikko succeeds in freeing himself and heads for safety, shackles still attached.

Lucy, Kit, and Mimi are three friends who live in a small Georgia town. Mimi brings up the topic of going to Los Angeles for a record contract audition. They all leave together: Lucy to visit her mom in Tucson, Arizona, and Kit to visit her fiance in Los Angeles.
