It is the fourth feature film in the live action Umizaru series, following films Umizaru (2004), Limit of Love: Umizaru (2006) and Umizaru 3: The Last Message (2010), and the 2005 TV series Umizaru: Evolution.
Synopsis
Two years have passed since the oil platform accident in The Last Message. Heroic rescue diver Daisuke Senzaki (Ito Hideaki) and longtime teammate Yoshioka (Ryuta Sato) have since transferred to the front line as members of a special rescue unit. While Senzaki and his wife Kanna (Ai Kato) are about to welcome a second child into their happy family, Yoshioka has also found love with flight attendant Mika (Riisa Naka). One day, Mika's Tokyo-bound flight catches mechanical trouble, putting over 300 souls in danger as the pilots attempt an emergency landing on water. Despite the plane landing safely, Senzaki, Yoshioka and their fellow sea monkeys only have 20 minutes to get everyone out before it sinks into water.Actors

Alors qu'un typhon approche, un accident se produit dans la gigantesque usine de gaz naturel Regalia. Following the decommissioning of the patrol vessel Nagare (ながれ), Daisuke Senzaki, a Japan Coast Guard (JCG) rescue diver, is posted to the 10th Region Mobile Rescue Unit, based at Kagoshima Air Station. The film's opening sequence depicts a plane crash in stormy seas, where Senzaki battles the elements to keep two victims alive. The adverse conditions prevents the dropping of additional divers to aid Senzaki, and he struggles to keep all three of them on the floating wreckage which has become their lifeboat. Senzaki is only able to hold onto an adult male, while a young boy struggles to hang on by himself. At this point, the adult lets go of Senzaki's hand; a cue for him to grab hold of the boy instead. Senzaki manages to keep the boy alive, but the heroic gesture by the other victim meant that he himself drowns. Senzaki soon becomes plagued with guilt and self-doubt due to this episode, as he had once pledged not to let anymore victims die before his eyes.

Casey Bowman is an American orphan who was adopted into a martial arts dojo in Japan. Because of his perseverance and desire to master bushido, he earns the respect of the dojo's sensei and his daughter Namiko. The film tells the story of two Shinsengumi samurai.
