Donald essaye de voler les cacahouètes de Tic et Tac pour faire du beurre de cacahouète dans sa boutique ayant la forme d'une coquille de noix. Les deux écureuils alertés par le manège du canard vont le suivre jusqu'à sa boutique qu'ils prennent d'abord pour une gigantesque noix. Une fois entrés dedans, les deux écureuils vont se servir directement en beurre de cacahouète. Donald va les poursuivre mais il sera pris dans un tronc arbre que les deux écureuils vont utiliser" comme canon en lançant un nid d'abeille dedans. Donald sera alors expulsé dans le lac voisin.

Donald is a plumber fixing pipes in the basement of a house (presumably Mickey's house, since Mickey is mentioned on the title cover of the episode). Donald first has trouble with pulling his hammer off a magnet, which it gets stuck to. When he unscrews the lid covering the pipe, water spurts out and hits Donald in the face, angering him. To stop the flow, Donald uses the magnet to pull a larger hammer toward himself, which he uses to put on another lid to the hole. In doing so he accidentally wakes Pluto and later accidentally pulls Pluto's bone away from him. While Pluto wrestles with the magnet to get his bone back, he swallows the magnet and gets his bone stuck to his bottom. As he fights to get the bone, he tumbles into the pile of furniture Donald is standing on, causing Donald to come crashing to the ground. Pluto eventually runs into the kitchen and the magnet inside him causes many cooking items to be pulled onto his rear.

Dans le far west, Minnie chevauche vers la ville. Elle y rencontre un cowboy solitaire, Mickey, qui lui déclare qu'elle doit faire attention à elle, car la ville et ses environs ne sont pas sûrs. Donald tente d'avoir un rendez-vous amoureux avec Daisy mais c'est sans compter ses neveux, Riri, Fifi et Loulou. Donald visite la maison de son nouvel amour pour sa première date connue. Donald a essayé de la courtiser et de la prendre dans ses bras, mais au début, Daisy fait preuve de timidité et tourne le dos à sa visiteuse. Mais Donald remarque rapidement que les plumes de sa queue prennent la forme d’une main et lui indiquent de s’approcher. Mais leur temps seul est bientôt interrompu par Riri, Fifi et Loulou qui viennent de suivre leur oncle et lui font clairement concurrence pour attirer l’attention de Daisy. The story begins with an old bird named the Patriarch of the Birds, who tells many other animals something that happened many years ago: The story of Manuela turtle. Manuela's story is told since she was in the egg had not hatched, her parents and grandfather were preparing the house and preparing for the arrival of Manuela, the new family member. The Patriarch tells that the years passed and Manuela turned into a beautiful teenager, and Bartolito is now a handsome find young man. Bartolito is in love with Manuela and confesses his feelings for her in a letter but when he tries to deliver, they discover that there is a fair circus Pehuajó, where Manuela, her parents, her grandfather, Bartolito and Dopi live. Since the family was going the fair, Bartolito decided to save the note for later and join them.
