Synopsis
Irak, avril 2004. Officiellement, la guerre est terminée, mais d'âpres combats se poursuivent dans les villes à majorité sunnite. Falloujah, haut lieu de la révolte, est assiégée depuis deux semaines par les troupes américaines, et la situation humanitaire y est catastrophique. Les réserves alimentaires s'épuisent, l'unique hôpital est pilonné, et il devient difficile de soigner les blessés. Profitant d'un cessez-le-feu de 24 heures, Kim, collaboratrice d'une organisation humanitaire, et le médecin Alain Laroche se mettent en route vers Falloujah afin de livrer du matériel médical d'urgence. Oliver, jeune et ambitieux reporter de la télé allemande, accompagne le convoi, certain de réaliser, depuis la ville coupée du monde, le scoop de sa vie. Son cameraman plus expérimenté, Ralf, considère que l'opération est bien trop risquée.Actors

Jack (George Clooney), a gunsmith and contract killer, and his lover, Ingrid (Irina Björklund), are relaxing in Sweden. Jack becomes alarmed by a trail of footprints in the snow and pulls Ingrid towards shelter. Sniper gunshots ring out. Ingrid sees Jack pull a gun from his pocket and shoot the approaching sniper. Knowing his identity is in jeopardy, and with little hesitation, Jack shoots and kills Ingrid. He flees to Rome and contacts his handler Pavel (Johan Leysen), who insists that Jack cannot stay in Rome. Pavel sends him to Castelvecchio (a small town in the mountains of Abruzzo). Jack becomes nervous, and, disposing of the cell phone Pavel gave him, goes to nearby Castel del Monte, Abruzzo, instead.

The movie takes place in the present day, when a policeman obtains one of the halves, and gives it to his brother to figure out. The policeman is then captured by a mobster who was looking for the treasure, who then forces him to come to the island to help him find it. Meanwhile, his brother hires a small plane (with a female pilot and two incidental passengers) to take him to the island, but a storm ends up stranding everyone. The two groups are forced to survive in the jungle while also clashing with each other.

Conducteur du métro de Vienne, Ulrich Lenz est un violeur qui a déjà fait une peine de prison pour ce crime.
