Cowboy est un film franco-belge réalisé par Benoît Mariage sorti en 2007.

Synopsis

Cowboy raconte l'histoire du journaliste de télévision Daniel Piron (Benoît Poelvoorde) désabusé qui souhaite revenir sur le devant de la scène en retrouvant les protagonistes d'une prise d'otages qui avait eu lieu vingt-cinq ans auparavant. Hélas, le ravisseur, Tony Sacchi, qui l'avait inspiré, n'est plus le révolutionnaire de l'époque. Le choc des retrouvailles n'a pas lieu. Le film et le projet de Piron ne vont pas être à la hauteur de ses attentes. Il décide de manipuler les faits.

Ben is a witty, charismatic serial killer who holds forth at length about whatever comes to mind, be it the "craft" of murder, the failings of architecture, his own poetry, or classical music, which he plays with his girlfriend. A film crew joins him on his sadistic adventures, recording them for a fly on the wall documentary. Ben takes them to meet his family and friends while boasting of murdering many people at random and dumping their bodies in canals and quarries. The viewer witnesses these grisly killings in graphic detail.

The film begins with Detective Havenhurst driving with his partner Detective Vargas. They receive a call and drive to the scene of a murder.
