Add to a movie listCrayon (also referred to as Crayon the Movie) is a 2010 Malaysian drama film. Written and directed by Dean A. Burhanuddin, it stars Hon Kahoe, Faisal Abdullah, Adibah Noor and Joshry Adamme. Its producers are Dean A. Burhanuddin, Linda Ziegler and Elise A. Hamid.
Inspired by true events, the film portrays two university students who volunteer for a social program to help orphans in the east coast of Malaysia during their semester holidays. However, the land they are visiting are reclaimed by land developers for their own purposes. A charity concert is held in their effort to help more, but the orphanage gets burnt down. This startling turn of events causes doubt to their new sense of purpose, and forces them to test their adversity.

The story plot of Gubra is set a few years after Orked's romance with Jason, where she is married to Ariff, a man who is very much older than her. Early one morning, when she was fooling around with Ariff in the bathroom, her mother Mak Inom called her and said, "Orked, come now! We're losing your abah (father in Malay)!" A 19-year-old Ah Loong (who also called himself "Jason") is in charge of a stall selling pirated VCDs. In order to improve their lifestyle, village near Badaun, based Ghulam Hasan (Farooq Shaikh) decides to re-locate to Bombay, on the insistence of his close friend Lalulal Tiwari (Jalal Agha). Raoul (Gérard Depardieu) and his wife Solange (Carole Laure) are eating in a restaurant when Raoul expresses concern with Solange's apparent depression, as she eats little, suffers migraines and insomnia and also sometimes faints. He finds another man in the room, Stéphane (Patrick Dewaere), to be her lover and hopefully enliven her again. Stéphane is puzzled by Raoul's plan but gives in to his desperate appeals for help. The two men take turns sleeping with Solange, and both try to impregnate her without success, believing a lack of a child to be the source of her depression.
