It aired in the United States on the Syfy Channel on November 4, 2007. It is the 5th film in the Maneater Series produced under an agreement with Syfy. Filmed in Thailand, the film revolves around the efforts of the owner of a crocodile-farm, an animal welfare agent, and a hunter trying to kill a large saltwater crocodile that has begun killing people in the area.

The premise of the film opens with Tammy at cheerleader practice, while her boyfriend Michael walks in from football practice to observe. The two of them meet Byron, Tammys homosexual friend, who approves of Michael as her new boyfriend. Shortly thereafter, Tammy's violent and jealous ex-boyfriend Billy arrives with his gang and harass Michael. A violent fight erupts between Billy and Michael, with Billy gaining the upper hand by grabbing Michael by his testicles and not letting go. Michael retaliates by grabbing Billy by his testicles in the same fashion. The police arrive to break up the fight and get the two boys to release the grip on one another, with Billy clearly in pain, but Michael unfazed due to his wearing a protective cup. The police take Billy into custody, but Tammy, unable to deal with the events, breaks down and runs away in tears.

One year after the events of the second film at Black Lake, in Aroostook County, Maine, young couple April and Jason go skinny dipping and are attacked and eaten by a group of baby crocodiles. Meanwhile, at the house of the deceased Sadie Bickerman, her nephew Nathan, his wife Susan and their son Connor are cleaning out the house so they can sell it. However, Sheriff Tony Willinger soon arrives and convinces Nathan and Susan not to sell. Connor chases an escaped pet lizard down to the lake where he encounters the baby crocodiles, and begins to secretly feed them.

Kent Horvath (Michael Shanks) is a scientist, trying to invent a new pesticide, specifically for yellow jacket wasps. He tests it out on eight yellow jackets, to see how well it works. It kills six, out of the eight wasps, and the two who survived now have extremely high pheromone levels, resulting in increased aggression. That night, the janitor (John Baktins) accidentally releases them, and they both attack, and kill him. The movie opens with a hungover lifeguard, Josh (Xavier Samuel), being woken up by friend and fellow lifeguard Rory (Richard Brancatisano). Rory tells Josh that he shouldn't have proposed to his sister, Tina (Sharni Vinson), then offers to set a buoy for Josh. Josh visits Tina, who discusses their upcoming move to Singapore. As Rory boards into the ocean to set a buoy, a shark appears and kills a man in the water. Alerted to the danger, Josh quickly takes a jet ski and goes to get Rory, but is too late. Paleontologist Robert Trenton (Dean Cain) is called to Northeastern Antarctica near the Indian Ocean to help the FBI build an underground maximum-security military base and prison for the world's most dangerous criminals and terrorists. The prison is dubbed "New Alcatraz" by the staff. While building the prison, the staff accidentally awaken and unleash a prehistoric Boa Constrictor from its 200 million year hibernation. The snake escapes unnoticed until the staff notice a massive hole chewed in the five-foot thick concrete walls. Soon, the staff, and prisoners begin disappearing as they are brutally hunted and eaten by the snake. The FBI agents, Trenton and the rest of the prisoners try to escape, but are hampered as they don't have many weapons. They begin to give up hope as most of the survivors die. However, Trenton manages to kill the snake by kicking it off the helicopter, which it had bitten into, and it is assumed the fall kills the snake.

At Aquatica, a remote former submarine refueling facility converted into a laboratory, a team of scientists is searching for a cure for Alzheimer's disease. Fluids from the brain tissue of three Mako sharks are being harvested as a cure for Alzheimer's. Unknown to the other scientists, Dr. Susan McAlester (Saffron Burrows) has violated the code of ethics and has genetically engineered the sharks to increase their brain size, but this has the side effect of making the sharks smarter and more dangerous.
