Synopsis
Martha (Clare Bowen) and her husband Heck (David Call) are two hardy settlers trying to survive in New Mexico after the end of the Civil War and the death of Martha's father. They're given hope for a better life when a mining company shows interest in purchasing their homestead, but things become tense when Martha's brother Wade (Barlow Jacobs), who defected to the Union Army returns home after hearing of their father's death- unaware that Martha herself was the one who brought about his demise.Actors

After they meet on a dating site, Cody and Virginia begin chatting with each other over Skype and subsequently start a long distance relationship. After serving time in gaol, Lebanese Australian John Morkos returns home. He finds work as a cleaner at a boxing gym, owned by an Aboriginal man. The movie opens up with a scene from a party. The main character, Jonah (Ryan Kwanten), is introduced as a young party-boy without a care in the world. The power goes out for a short period of time because Jonah has not paid his electric bills, but gets it back thanks to his neighbour. Afterwards, Jonah meets up with Becky (Kathryn Beck) and they retreat up to Jonah's room away from the party, only for Becky to find a lump in Jonah's testicle. Jonah goes to see a doctor, who reveals that Jonah has testicular cancer. He tells Jonah that they can remove it in time, but Jonah's upset that he won't be able to father children. The doctor suggests that Jonah uses a sperm bank in the event that he would like to have kids after the operation.
