The film is a full-length comedy set in two villages which are perpetually at conflict with one another. The film has been extensively shot in Thanjavur, Kumbakonam and Chennai. The film was released on 23 August 2013 to highly negative reviews and was an average grosser at the box office.
Synopsis
Idhayakkani (Vimal), who hails from the village of Killioru, is a firm believer in non-violence. The ongoing feud between his family and the family of Seena Thana from the neighbouring village of Pulioru is a source of constant worry for him.Actors

The entire film shoot was at Golden Rock, Tiruchirappalli. The film opens with two friends "Pattai"Murugan (Sivakarthikeyan) and "Theni"Kesavan (Vimal) who are unemployed and want to become a politician. Meanwile,Murugan meets Paappaa (Regina Cassandra) and falls for her. On the other side Kesavan meets Mithra Meenalochini (Bindu Madhavi) and falls for her. Paappaa and Mithra too fall for them after many confusions . There comes the Councilor Election and Murugan stands for it. Paappaa gives Murugan money to spend for the Election. Eventually Murugan loses in the election. Seeing this, Murugan's father dies by falling off of the train platform. Murugan gets the job of his father. Kesavan marries Mithra. Murugan and Paappaa waits for the acceptation of their parents. As their parents accept for their marriage and they get married . Murugan & Kesavan realise the real value of the life & they decide that life is nothing without doing work so they both go to their respective homes & while seeing their father's photo Murugan & Kesavan write that " DAD IS MY GOD " & " MY FATHER IS HERO " respectively.

Two families stay in identical bungalows, adjacent to each other, tracing their friendship to over forty years. Their respective progenies Chinna and Chella (Ajith and Jyotika) are childhood buddies, their easy camaraderie and strong bonding carried over to their adult years. The two study in the same college, same class, zoom together on the motorbike, their togetherness at home and college, as accepted a fact as it was in films like 'Piriyadha Varam Vendum', etc. Somewhere along the way, the duo fall in love, throwing some soft glances at each other, when the other is not looking. Their college mate, Karna (Yugendran, son of Malaysia Vasudevan), makes devious plans to separate the duo and make Chella his. He doesn't seem to have any running feud with Chinna, is quite friendly with the duo, nor does he seem to be particularly in love with Chella. Chinna laps up all that Karna tells him about Chella loving him, and is heartbroken and goes out of station on a business trip.
