The film was dubbed into Tamil as Singamagan, and dubbed into Hindi as Dhammu.
Synopsis
Rama Chandra (NTR Jr) is an orphan who leads a simple life along with his friend (played by Ali). He falls in love with Sathya (Trisha Krishnan), who is a very rich girl. Sathya imposes a condition that Rama Chandra's family history and pedigree are very important. At this very moment, Rama Chandra comes to know that a rich and powerful royal family is on the lookout to adopt an heir and Rama Chandra seizes the chance. But once he goes there, he realises that things are not as simple as they seem. The family has a violent past and a bitter dispute with another powerful family (headed by Nassar). He also realises that thousands of people in the area are now dependent on him for their very survival. He also discovers that he is the real heir to the family. Rama Chandra does not like violence and he tries his best to solve the problems peacefully. But the rival gang does not give him a chance. Vexed with the violence Rama Chandra kills Nasser's two sons and opens eyes of Nasser by placing a sword on Nasser's third son. In climax, Nasser realises that he was wrong and apologizes to all. Rama Chandra becomes the hero of the village.Actors

Daya is an orphan who grows up learning that a police's life is a happy one with lots of money coming in the form of bribes which inspires him to become a police officer. After years, he becomes a corrupt, cunning, manipulative and ruthless sub inspector of police. He is transferred to Vishakhapatnam where he forms an immediate friendship with the local don Waltair Vasu by releasing his four brothers Ravi, Mani, Varun and Sundeep from the jail who were arrested for smuggling. Daya's attitude does not go well with his subordinate Narayana Murthy, a sincere police constable. He tries to oppose Daya's deeds which go vain.

Karthik (NTR Jr.) challenges a level headed industrialist Bhanumati (Ramya Krishnan) that he would marry either of her daughters, to take revenge on her for insulting him in his interview to get a job in her company. Meghana (Shriya Saran) falls for the young man, just for the one accidental kiss he gives her. The younger one Gagana (Genelia D'Souza) too follows suit, and now Karthik has a grip over both of Bhanumati’s daughter. Competing with him is Bhanumati’s nephew (Rajiv Kanakala), whose father (Charan Raj) too encourages him to chase his cousins, and marry either of them to inherit their property. It is revealed in the flashback, that Bhanumati leaves her husband Suman, and Karthik is her nephew. How the responsible son-in-law sets his mom-in-law right and eliminates the villains from the game, is what the story is about.

Aarusaamy (Vikram) is the Deputy Commissioner of Police of Tirunelveli who efficiently brings the city under control. Aarusaamy arrives at Tirunelveli after being in exile for some years after being wrongly accused of bribery by corrupt politicians. Tony (N. T. Rama Rao Jr) does anything for money. When Tony went to Kashmir he met a young girl named Niharika (Tamannaah) while being kidnapped by terrorists. He falls in love with her and then rescues her. But Tony found out that Niharika was already engaged to Rakesh. Rakesh is a goon (and the minister's son) but Niharika doesn't know that. When Niharika found out that he was a goon, she dumped him. And she also came to know that she is in love with Tony. Later on Tony kills Rakesh and captures his son DSP Jr.(Sai). Later on when Tony, Niharika, and Chitra (Payal Ghosh) go to the temple, Chitra sees Tony killing someone. And then there is a flashback about how he and Niharika met before but she lost her memory. That happened because Niharika's brother was an undercover cop and when goons found out they killed the whole family. The only one who survived was Niharika but she had a bullet in her head. The doctors said that she would lose her memory soon. So, she tells Tony to kill the people who killed her family because she had seen Tony beating up a bunch of people. In the end tony kills all the goons who killed Niharika's family.

Vetrivel aka Velu (Vijay) is a car racer who lives with his large family in Chennai. His father, Singamuthu (Manivannan), had gone to Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh to work at a colliery and never returned, prompting Velu and his family to think that he is dead. Velu comes to know that a Malaysia-based don named Koccha (Suman) owes his father a huge sum of money. Irritated and preoccupied, neither Koccha nor his henchmen want to devote any time or attention to resolve Velu's problem. Velu is ill-treated and thrown out of Koccha's place without any help rendered. Determined to return to India only after his father's issue is solved to his satisfaction, Velu conceals himself in Koccha's palace-like residence. He soon finds out about a large diamond owned by Koccha and steals it, feeling that it would pay off his father's debt, and returns to India with Pons. Devi also follows Velu to India, having fallen in love with him.

Venkata Ramana (Daggubati Venkatesh) a.k.a Venky is a ventriloquist. An astrologer (M. S. Narayana) predicts that if he does not get married in one year, he will be a single man forever. He goes to Paris to show his talent to the company of Paris Prasad (Brahmanandam). Paris Prasad fools everyone and he was given a loan from a bank. But he has not repaid the loan to the bank. Venky befriends Sheikh Raj (Ali). Venky also falls in love with Pooja (Trisha Krishnan), the niece of Paris Prasad. Pooja has no feelings for Venky, but Paris Prasad tells Venky that Pooja too loves him and fools him. Slowly Pooja and Venky become friends. Pooja goes back to India and finds that her marriage has been arranged with Bhadrappa (Subbaraju), the son of her uncle, Changala Rayudu (Mukesh Rishi). Venky asks Paris Prasad for help. Prasad comes with Venky to save Pooja by telling him that Pooja loves him and wants to break the marriage. But Pooja loves an NRI named Rahul. There Venky introduces himself to everyone as Pranit and makes fools of them by giving the partnership of his factory's benefit. One day when Venky with Prasad and Pooja runs away, Bhaddrapa's uncle (Jaya Prakash Reddy) comes to know everything. He tells everyone this. Then Venky goes to his village along with Prasad, Rahul and Pooja. He introduces his family, his uncles, Narayana (Chandra Mohan) and Malesh Yadav (Kota Srinivasa Rao). After that Bhaddrapa's grandfather hatches a plan in which Venky will come with Pooja and they will kill him. But Venky ends up coming with his full family, so they could not kill him. But after coming here, Venky comes to know that Pooja loves Rahul. When Pooja's uncle attacks them, Venky saves everybody. Pooja realizes she loves Venky. Paris Prasad also realizes his mistake and gets Venky and Pooja married. After the marriage, Prasad asks Venky to give him money with which he can repay the bank loan. But Venky laughs after hearing this.
