Synopsis

Jaded playboy Richard Fleming travels to the South American nation of Rosarita. Through his motorcycle riding guide Roberto he discovers true love and a career as a Yerba mate exporter.

Newton High music teacher Malvina Adams (Risdon) is asked to retire since attendance in her classes keeps dropping each year. In pre-Civil War Louisiana in 1854, young Timothy Reid Jr. (Breen) is orphaned. He inherits a plantation and its well-cared-for slaves.
