Ce film est la suite du premier film, De père en flic.
Synopsis
Jacques et son fils Marc sont deux policiers qui ne peuvent se supporter mais qui doivent travailler ensemble. Leur mission: sauver la vie d'un de leur collègue kidnappé par les motards. La réussite de leur mission passe par Me Charles Bérubé, l'avocat des motards qui est en pleine crise de conscience et semble mûr pour collaborer avec la police. Mais l'avocat est inapprochable. Jacques et Marc changent d'identité, deviennent agents immobilier pour essayer de se rapprocher de lui lors d'une thérapie père/fils en forêt. Réussiront-ils à mettre Bérubé en confiance et le convaincre de dire tout ce qu'il sait?Actors

À la suite d'une opération policière, un agent double est enlevé par des motards criminels. Deux policiers, le père et le fils qui sont incapables de s'entendre, doivent retrouver leur collègue, et leur seule chance est de faire craquer l'avocat des motards, Charles Bérubé (Rémy Girard). Celui-ci, surveillé de près par la police, est sur le point de trahir la bande mais est inapprochable. Cependant, l'avocat est mis au pied du mur par sa conjointe : pour contrer les tendances suicidaires de son fils, il doit passer avec lui une semaine en forêt pour une thérapie de groupe père-fils organisée par un psychologue (Robin Aubert). Les policiers y inscrivent leur couple père-fils dysfonctionnel pour essayer d'amener l'avocat à collaborer.

Luc et Marco, deux humoristes méconnus, font le tour des petites villes du Québec avec leur spectacle respectif ; le premier, blasé et antipathique, est trop cérébral, alors que l'autre, enjoué et dynamique, est trop vulgaire. Un seul numéro, qu'ils exécutent collectivement, a un certain succès auprès de l'auditoire. Il consiste simplement à insulter publiquement un membre de l'assemblée jusqu'à la limite de l'insolence. Malheureusement pour eux, à l'Anse-au-Pic, une petite localité en bordure de la rivière Saguenay, ils humilient Roger Gendron, le cuisinier timide et renfrogné du casse-croûte local.

James "Jimmy" Monroe and Paul Hodges (Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan) are cops working for the NYPD who celebrated their ninth year together as partners. After failing to capture suspect Juan Diaz (Cory Fernandez) and for causing a dangerous neighborhood shootout and beating up a child, Jimmy and Paul are suspended without pay. L.A.P.D. Sergeants Martin Riggs (Gibson) and Roger Murtaugh (Glover) arrive at an evacuated building believed to have a bomb in it. Against orders, they go inside to investigate the bomb. Riggs decides to deactivate the bomb himself instead of waiting for the Bomb Squad to arrive. Unfortunately, he causes the bomb to detonate and the whole building to collapse. This causes them to be demoted to uniform duties, which upsets Murtaugh because he only has seven days until retirement. While on street patrol, the two thwart a robbery using a duplicate armored car, although they only manage to catch one of the two would-be thieves. During the arrest, it is discovered the criminals were armed with a new type of armor-piercing bullet, informally referred to as "cop killers". For their efforts in stopping the raid, Riggs and Murtaugh are reinstated as Detective Sergeants by their superior, Captain Murphy (Kahan). Murphy introduces internal affairs Sergeant Lorna Cole (Russo) to the two detectives and informs them that the suspect they have in custody from the raid is a known associate of former L.A.P.D. Lieutenant and suspected arms dealer: Jack Travis (Wilson).
