It is loosely based on a novel with the same name written by Antonio Incorvaia and Alessandro Rimassa.
The film received two nominations at Nastri d'Argento Awards, for best comedy film and for best supporting actress (Valentina Lodovini).
Synopsis
A 30 ans, Matteo, diplômé en mathématiques, est employé au service marketing d'une entreprise. Son salaire ne lui permettant pas de payer seul son loyer, il partage son appartement avec son ami Francesco. Bientôt, sa vie tranquille s'effondre, et les catastrophes se succèdent, jusqu'à sa rencontre avec deux ravissantes jeunes femmes : la blonde Angelica, et la brune Béatrice, qui n'est autre que sa nouvelle colocataire.Actors

While Alberto is back in his beloved northern Italy in Milan, his friend Mattia is still in Naples with his friends. He has problems with his wife Maria, because she wants him to take his postal job seriously, now that the two have a son to look after. Then after a dispute, Mattia decides to transfer to northern Italy, in the town of Pordenone. Mattia appears to be willing to leave his little town, but as soon as the transfer comes through, he begins to despair. Many locals offer their opinions; his wise old mother tells him that the people in northern Italy are terribly cold and cruel. Mattia is slightly reassured and in the blink of an eye is in Milan, a whole new world for him as a citizen of the South. Alberto welcomes him very coldly because he is in big trouble. The director of Milan's largest postal company intends to provide Italy with a whole new economic plan from Japan to modify the postal service. Mattia starts working in the post office where Alberto is the deputy director, but he soon realizes how different the local mentality is: people are not like that back home.

Sarò tutta per te Enrico intends to recover the loving relationship with his ex-girlfriend Giuliana. She agrees and the two go in the house of her, but all of a sudden Enrico realizes he is not alone. In fact the young friends of Giuliana have reached the villa in the evening and plan many evening parties: typical of the flower children of that period. Enrico, on the threshold of fifty, feels him excluded and displaced, completely alien to the new juvenile behavior and his only instinct is to make love with Giuliana. When she agrees exasperated the poor Enrico blatantly fails to satisfy her in an embrace and so their relationship breaks down again.

The Milanese fashion guru Roberto Minghelli embarks with his wife on a cruise. One morning he wakes up in a now-sunken ship but is able to escape to an island, where he finds an abandoned hut which had a famous owner, Robinson Crusoe. Although the city slicker seems to be completely unsuitable for survival on a deserted island, Roberto adapts over time to his location and even leads a relatively happy life. But then he discovers that he is not alone on the island: a pretty young native, whom he calls Friday, joins him, and things start to be more complicated.

In Milan, Emanuele is a rich owner who cheats finance; so he is hunted. As happened while he is running away, Emanuele meets poor and bungling taxi driver Gino. In a restaurant six waiters are abandoned by their senior boss (Ciccio Ingrassia) who goes to the hospital for an illness. Salvatore Azzaro: the new owner, an old Roman hick, is going to give a cut to the staff and to renew the restaurant's decor; however he decides to make a bet. The young noble Didino is a big baby and an introvert man who has trouble to socializing because of the possessive mother. He is still treated in thirty years as a kid and does not know what to do to overcome his shyness, because no one of his family listens to him, and his uncle, worsening the situation, believes that he is mentally ill and also homosexual. By mistake the old servant of the family dies in an accident at home, so the mother of Didino calls a new scullery maid: a beautiful girl who falls in love with Didino. He too feels love for her, but does not know how to react because he is afraid that the mother can punish severely him. Initially Didino manages to overcome the fears and also design the flight home with the maid. The mother agrees and one evening in tears, begging her son to grant to him the last bath. This is a pretext of the mother to drown her son, so she can stay with him forever, even after death. While Didino dies drowned the servant under the house waits in tears for his arrival .
