Synopsis
The film narrates the tale of Burun, who is hopelessly weak in mathematics and has to take lessons from an eccentric teacher (Karali Sir). However, not all is well in Burun's world and he strays into Gosainbagan, befriends an enduring ghost (Nidhiram Sardar) only to later battle an evil force by the name of habiActors

The story is one of the pivotal characters, Mina narrating the story so far and introducing the family members to the audience. Mina is no more. Her husband Rohit and son Rony live in Singapore, but they have no contact with Mina's family because Mina had married against her family's will. Presently, Chumki, Mina's cousin is to get married. Her mother Sabitri Devi and most of her family wants Rohit to be a part of the wedding but her father is against it. However Sabitri Devi is stubborn and ultimately succeeds in being able to invite Rohit for the wedding. Rohit is welcomed by the entire family except Pratap Narayan and his son. Rohit is constantly humiliated by the two of them but he doesn't lose hope and does not get hostile. He also explains to Rony as to why he is unwanted in the family. Meanwhile, Mina's twin sister, Rina comes home. Rony looks up to her as his mother while Rohit and she get closer. Rohit and Rony are slowly accepted by Pratap Narayan but things complicate again when Rina's marriage is fixed elsewhere. Rina insists on marrying Rohit but he does not want to face the family rejection again. In the meantime, a letter written by Rina and addressed to Rohit falls into Pratap Narayan's hands and he drives Rohit out of his house again. Things finally are settled and Pratap Narayan goes to the station to get Rohit back.

Kali, Shankar and Tithi are the three motherless children of the acting priest of a local Krishna temple in an anonymous small town/village in West Bengal. The movie starts with Khaled Muhammad aka Baba(Sharat Saxena) in jail telling one of his henchmen to kill the kerala chief minister Ravi Menon(Murali).Sahadevan(Dileep) is the son of a police constable(Oduvil Unnikrishnan) who works in the dog squad. Sahadevan has only one ambition and that is to join the police department and for that he has cleared the exams and is waiting for the physical test. But he has an enemy, his own brother-in-law Peethambaran(Jagathy Sreekumar) who does not like him.Some of Baba's henchmen with the help of commissioner Gauri shankar(Ashish Vidyarthi) plan to kill the CM by placing a bomb in his room in the hospital when Ravi Menon was unwell.However Sahadevan foils the plan as his dog Arjun sacrifices himself. The blame is put on him by the police commissioner but he is saved by the DGP(Vijayaraghavan). Because the commissioner is aware of Sahadevan's knowings about the bomb plan,he along with Peethambaran deliberately fails him in the physical test. When he finds out who the crooks are, he tries to find a way to foil it and that hope was to become a private detective via his uncle Karamchand(Captain Raju). He becomes a private detective and calls himself CID Moosa,Shortform of Moolamkushiyil Sahadevan. He has a funky car that do different tricks to assist him in evading his enemies. During all of this he falls in love with a girl named Meena (Bhavana).After innumerable attempts,he makes her fall in love with him.Meanwhile,he managed to intercept the first terrorists who planned to place the bomb in the hospital. Gauri in anger destroys Moosa's office saying it doesn't have license.When Moosa goes to the CM for a petition,the CM's car explodes.Moosa is applauded for saving him.Then he kills the second terrorist and gets a Rs.5 lakhs as a reward. Meena then told Moosa that those terrorists were sharing tenants in her house and filed a case to the commissioner not realising that she would be arrested as soon as she reached her flat.the commissioner tries to molest Meena but Moosa intervenes to save her.Later Gauri forces the CM to issue a warrant against Moosa which he reluctantly accepts.On the way home,Ravi Menon sees Baba on the road(he gets released from jail).Moosa meets the CM to prove his innocence but Baba enters to assault the CM and shoots him in his arm.Moosa takes the CM to safety in his cars and uses the different tricks and devices in his car to evade the police.Then he gets intercepted by Gauri and Baba but kills them using his wits and a little help from his dog.The CM is saved and now Moosa is sent to Scotland to solve bigger cases.

Feluda (Abir Chatterjee) and his cousin Topshe (Sourav Das) visit Lucknow with Topshe's father (Deepankar De) to spend the Puja vacation. They arrive at the house of Dhirendra Kumar Sanyal (Biswajit Chakraborty), a friend of Topshe's father. That evening Dr. Shrivastav (Bharat Kaul) also comes to Dhirendra Kumar Sanyal and tells him that last night, a thief tried to steal his 'Ring of Aurangzeb' (The Emperor's Ring) which was given to him by Pyarilaal Seth.
