Synopsis
Dr. Satyajit Chavan is the head doctor at a civil hospital in Dehli. Satyajit is well regarded and respected, but he has terrible bedside manners and is generally rude to everyone. His staff of doctors, most of whom are young interns fresh out of medical school, inquire about his bedside manner. He curtly informs them that his job is to treat patients and that beds must be allocated to the ones who are most likely to survive and get better. We discover that government hospitals (especially in large cities like Mumbai) are severely limited in bed space and attract the worst stricken patients in the city. These draconian conditions have shaped Satyajit and his views on treatment.Actors

Taxi No 9211 focuses on Raghav Shastri (Nana Patekar), a cab driver in Mumbai who lies to his wife about his job, pretending to be an insurance salesman. The movie opens with a pregnant Mary Kom (Priyanka Chopra), heading towards the hospital with her husband Onler Kom (Darshan Kumaar). Onler is mistaken for an insurgent and beaten when he tries to find a vehicle despite a curfew. The film then shifts to a flashback with Mangte Chungeijang Kom, finding boxing gloves in the remains of an air crash in 1991, which prompted her interest in boxing despite her father's disapproval. During an early fight, she chases a boy and ends up in a boxing gym. The coach of the gym, Narjit Singh (Sunil Thapa) is the coach of the Asian Champion Dingko Singh, and Kom tells him about her boxing aspirations. He asks her to visit the gym for next thirty days and says that he will only teach her if she is deserving enough. She starts visiting the gym, telling her mother but not her father. Days pass but her father does not enquire about her. Due to Kom's dedication and stubbornness, Coach Singh starts training her, suggesting she change her name to Mary Kom.

This film is about an young aspiring Cricketer Jeeva, who dreams of playing for the India national cricket team one day. The films begins with Jeeva, sitting in a park bench and starts to narrate his life story. He is a lower middle class boy,who from the very young age is interested in cricket. He sees Sachin Tendulkar as his idol. Though his father initially does not support him, he later starts to do so on the request of his friend. Jeeva grows up and becomes a part of the school team. He excels in his game and turns out to be a star player. Seeing his performances, a local cricket club offers him a chance to join and train with them,for which his father disagrees saying that his academic performance is poor due to cricket and he may not get a job in future. In between Jeeva falls in love with his neighbour girl and they are broken up when their family comes to know about this. Jeeva starts to drink due to this heartbreak. So to make him concentrate on good deeds again, Jeeva's father agrees to let him join the cricket club.

In the small village of Champaner, (in the State of Gujarat, in western India) during the height of the British Empire in India in 1893, Captain Andrew Russell (Paul Blackthorne), the commanding officer of the Champaner cantonment, has imposed high taxes ("lagaan") on people from the local villages which they are unable to pay due to a prolonged drought. Led by Bhuvan (Aamir Khan), the villagers beg Raja Puran Singh (Kulbhushan Kharbanda) to help them. He tells them that much to his regret, he is also bound by British law.
