High Crime was a big success at the time of its release, and helped popularize the Italian cop thriller genre. The film was Castellari's first poliziottesco film, and it was followed by films such as Street Law (Il cittadino si ribella, 1974), The Big Racket (Il grande racket, 1976) and The Heroin Busters (La via della droga, 1977).
Synopsis
A Lebanese drug dealer arrives in Genoa and Vice-Commissioner Belli (Nero) soon tracks him down. After a long car chase, Belli manages to arrest him. However, when the prisoner is being taken to the police station, the police car is bombed before it reaches its target. The Lebanese and four policemen die in the hit, but Belli survives. Belli then goes to Cafiero (Rey), an old-fashioned gangster who claims to have transformed into a peaceful gardener, to question about the bombing and it turns out that there is a new player in town. Cafiero decides to take care of the new gang before the police get to them. His task turns out to be more difficult when his trusted man, Rico (Daniel Martín), turns out to be a mole working for the unknown new gangsters.Actors

Une nuit, Peter, avocat de profession, se détend dans un night club Londonien. Il fait alors la rencontre d'Anna, une prostituée qu'il ramène chez son oncle chez lequel il loge. Un oncle, juge de métier, de grande réputation, et surtout très occupé alors à son bureau. A peine le couple rentré, le juge appelle, chargeant Peter de mettre la main sur un dossier important, dont il a besoin de façon urgente. Peter, de son côté légèrement accaparé ailleurs par la belle Anna, semble quant à lui un peu moins empressé... Mais voilà, qu'en cherchant le dossier Peter entrouvre une porte de placard et à l'intérieur y découvre le corp du mort d'une crise cardiaque. C'est alors qu'au sein de la maison surgit un jeune aux allures de voyou psychotique, les menaçant de son arme. Un huis clos infernal, dans lequel le couple est pris en otage, commence alors.

After the U.S. Civil War, Keoma (Nero), part Indian and part white, returns to his home town to find his half-brothers in alliance with a petty tyrant named Caldwell. Caldwell and his gang rule over the town with an iron fist. With the help of his father and George, an old Black friend, he vows revenge. Young Jonathan Kowalski hides in a cave when a bunch of criminals kills his family. Hereby he meets a little bear. À Rome, des commerçants sont violemment rackettés par des voyous d'une organisation mafieuse dirigée par un certain Rudy le Marseillais. Ils sont surveillés de près par l'inspecteur Nico Palmieri et son adjoint, le sergent Salvatore Velasci. During the Dunkirk evacuation in 1940, a team of German saboteurs assume the identities of dead British soldiers and are transported to England. Their first objective is to cripple British air defences by destroying radar stations. Though the identities and whereabouts of the saboteurs are unknown, a team of British soldiers is set up to track them down and abort their mission. While the Battle of Britain rages overhead, the final confrontation takes place as the German team are about to blow up the RAF Fighter Command control centre.
