His People (aka; Proud Heart) is a 1925 silent film about a young, Jewish boxer growing up on the Lower East Side of Manhattan directed by Edward Sloman. According to film historian Lester Friedman, “Sloman’s compelling vision of the painful depths and joyous heights of immigrant life endow the film with an exuberant vitality that captivates modern filmgoers and enlightens film historians.”

The film is preserved at the Library of Congress.

The Stooges are vaudeville entertainers who trek to Mexico to perform their gag bullfight shtick, with Joe as the brave matador, and Moe and Larry dressed in a bull costume. Unfortunately, their gig is cancelled once they arrive. According to the trio, the manager fired them after they refused to do 10 additional shows for free. With no money to return home the stooges are stranded. Feeling bad for them, attractive señorita Greta (Greta Thyssen) gets the boys a gig at the local bull ring. However, when she leaves Greta mistakenly takes the trio's suitcase instead of hers. They go to retrieve it, however, while there Joe becomes attracted to Greta and begins to kiss her, initially unbeknownst to him, her husband José (George J. Lewis)sees this and becomes jealous, he orders them out and threatens them if he ever sees them again. The stooges leave but realize they again have the wrong suitcase forcing them to return and hide from a sleeping José, José awakens and chases the stooges but they escape with their correct suitcase.

Michael Lafond, un métis, jure de se venger après que Jim Buckley l'a forcé à descendre du train car il avait insulté une femme. Michael tue Prue Welch, la femme d'un professeur venant de la Nouvelle Angleterre, et kidnappe leur fille Molly. Michael poursuit Jim à cheval, mais dans la bagarre il tome à l'eau et se tue. Jim retourne chez lui et y retrouve Molly heureuse avec Cheyenne Harry.
