It stars Kuchar, Donna Kerness, Stella Kuchar, and Andrea Lunin. The most popular and acclaimed of Kuchar's filmography of over 200 films – it was voted 52nd in the Critics' Poll of the 100 best films of the 20th century.
Synopsis
The film is about a depressed independent director who becomes awkward when he asks to film his actresses nude. It features partial nudity and sex scenes, as the director becomes jealous after seeing Kerness and her boyfriend make love during a steamy session in the shower. In summary, "a very direct and subtle, very sad and funny look at nothing more or less than sexual frustration and aloneness", according to the Ann Arbor Film Festival, who screened it in 2012.Actors

The story begins during a thunderstorm. The house, which is shown in the opening shot, named Prairie Blossom, is very clearly fake which lends itself to comedic value. A caller, Willene Cassidy, pays a visit to the house owner, Mrs. Gert Hammond, who is very drunk. She insists that she make herself presentable before she answers the door. This takes a very long time and she makes a bad job of putting on her makeup. In an effort to get the alcohol out of her system she makes herself vomit by putting her fingers down her throat. Finally, having retrieved her wig from the toilet, where it fell during her vomiting, she is ready to greet her visitor. Willene is shocked at the dishevelled appearance of Mrs. Hammond and insist on giving her a bath. Willene explains that her husband is a very famous country music star, Simon Cassidy, whose music is heard on the radio during the later scene and is terrible. During the course of the bath, Willene unintentionally masturbates Mrs. Hammond. It is also revealed that Mr. Hammond died and that their son "no longer exists".

Sachiko Hanai (Emi Kuroda) works as a call girl or soap girl specializing in sexual roleplay, or cosplay. Des difficultés financières vont entraîner le rachat de l'entreprise Castejac de Toulouse par le groupe américain Fielding. Benoît Castejac se rend à Paris pour négocier avec Morrison, le représentant du groupe. Ce dernier charge son directeur des relations publiques, Levêgue, de fournir une call-girl au PDG toulousain : il s'agit de rendre plus agréable son séjour et plus facile la négociation. Benoît rencontre Christine, qu'on lui présente comme la nièce de Levêgue, et en tombe amoureux. De retour à Toulouse, il doit faire face à une grève menée par Bastide, le délégué syndical et l'un des joueurs de l'équipe de rugby animée par Benoît. Lors d'un nouveau séjour à Paris, celui-ci apprend, de Levêgue la vérité. Il fait venir Christine, l'insulte, puis il la supplie de le suivre. Christine se moque de lui. À Toulouse, Françoise Castejac, jalouse, décide de coucher avec un envoyé de Morrison, puis de se séparer de Benoît. Celui-ci est seul, abandonné de tous. Un dernier espoir : Christine.

Set in Rome and its surroundings, the film tells in a frighteningly realistic, ruthless and grotesque the evil of two powerful men of Italy in the seventies: a Director of illegal buildings (Vittorio Gassman), extremist fascist, and an upright judge, cynical looking in part to the Italian law (Ugo Tognazzi). Both can not stand each other, given the contrasts between the two men in any social, political and philosophical. Everyone hates each other and would like to delete it, but just because of the bad example that the two men give power to the people, many Italians are adversely affected because of cheating and rudeness of the fascist manufacturer and the communist magistrate. The director Dino Risi underlines the misdeeds and the weakness of the Italian people to react accordingly, by focusing on the story of these two men who are each other's opposite of the net.
