Irudhi Suttru / Saala Khadoos is an upcoming bilingual sport drama film written and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad. The film features R. Madhavan in the leading role as a boxing coach, and is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Hindi, under the title Saala Khadoos. Both versions are produced by C. V. Kumar and S. Sashikanth for Thirukumaran Entertainment and Y NOT Studios, while Varun Manian's Radiance Media presents the Tamil version and Madhavan's Tricolour Films and Rajkumar Hirani present the Hindi version respectively. Featuring music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, the film has cinematography by Sivakumar Vijayan and editing by Sathish Suriya. After beginning pre-production works in early 2013, the film began shoot in July 2014.

Prudhvi (Nitin Kumar Reddy) & Shashank (Shashank) are the leaders of two warring students groups in a Hyderabad college. They are fond of rugby union game and they sort the things out between them by playing rugby to prove superiority. The rest of the story is all about how Prudhvi leads his team to the victory.

Michael Dublin (Chad Ortis) is a shyster specialised in illegal betting. One night during an illegal car race he gets beaten up by a participant whose car he's previously sabotaged. When his opponents are about to stash him away, a feisty female neighbor steps in. Katherine Parker (Rebecca Neuenswander) saves him and Dublin is impressed by how artfully she decks her much heavier, more muscular opponent. The next morning, Dublin finds Parker and asks her to hire him as promoter. She refuses him at first, but after she ends up in prison for attending an illegal boxing event and Dublin manages to get her out, he persuades her to go on a tour with him. Picking up fights all over the country, Parker gains notoriety as a skilled fighter, and aims to participate as a challenger in a notorious annual underground boxing event in Miami.
