Synopsis
The film tells the story of a family whose uncle is murdered. The son (Sam Raimi) gets everything because he's in the will. A detective (Scott Spiegel) is trying to find out who murdered the uncle while avoiding ending up dead as well.Actors

The film begins with a new beginning similar to the first film. Ash Williams and his girlfriend, Linda, take a romantic vacation to a seemingly abandoned cabin in the woods. While there, Ash plays a tape recorder from the cabin's previous inhabitant Professor Knowby. The tape features Knowby reciting passages from the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis (or Book of the Dead), which he has discovered during an archaeological dig. However, the recorded incantation unleashes an evil force which kills and later possesses Linda, forcing Ash to decapitate his girlfriend with a shovel when she attacks him, he then buries her.

After being pulled through a time portal, Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) lands in A.D. 1300, where he is soon captured by Lord Arthur's (Marcus Gilbert) men, who suspect him to be an agent for Duke Henry (Richard Grove), with whom Arthur is at war. He is enslaved along with the captured Henry, his gun and chainsaw confiscated, and is taken to a castle. Ash is thrown in a pit where he fights off a Deadite and regains his weapons from Arthur's Wise Man (Ian Abercrombie). After demanding Henry and his men be set free (as he knew Henry was innocent, and his persecution was simply a witch hunt) and killing a deadite in full view of everyone, Ash is celebrated as a hero. He also grows attracted to Sheila (Embeth Davidtz), the sister of one of Arthur's fallen knights.

Five Michigan State University students, Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) and his girlfriend Linda (Betsy Baker), accompanied by Ash's sister Cheryl (Ellen Sandweiss), their friend Scotty, and his girlfriend Shelly , venture into the Tennessee hills to vacation in an isolated cabin for their spring break. Two romantic couples, consisting of four teenagers, decide to spend a weekend together located in a remote cabin found in the woods. An unseen force stalks and watches the group without their knowledge. Ellen (Ellen Sandweiss) and her boyfriend Bruce (Bruce Campbell) enter the woods to have a picnic lunch. The other couple, Scotty (Scott Spiegel) and Shelly (Mary Valenti), remain at the cabin playing Monopoly to pass time. During their lunch, Bruce announces to Ellen that they're camping on an Indian burial ground. Ellen is concerned, but Bruce assures her that they will be fine as long as they don't disturb the graves of the dead. Bruce then explores the area and discovers an ancient dagger belonging to the Indians. Ignoring his own advice, he takes the dagger with him.

The film begins with a shot of Victor Ajax (Reed Birney), who has been sentenced to death, sitting in an electric chair. The film then flashes back to show that Victor once was a promising young technician in the employ of Trend-Odegard Security. Mr. Trend (Edward R. Pressman), co-owner of the company, has learned of a plan by his partner to sell the company to Renaldo "The Heel" (Bruce Campbell) and responds by hiring two exterminators who promise to "kill all sizes" (Brion James and Paul Smith) in order to eliminate Odegard and his plan. Bruce Campbell plays an Indiana Jones-type explorer named Cleveland Smith, exploring a dark cave and avoiding oncoming boulders, evading chasing Indians and crossing the river in a canoe to escape them. When one of their spears springs a leak in his canoe, he jumps onto a rock that turns out to be a dinosaur, which he also escapes from, only to land in quicksand. When confronted by a nazi (Sam Raimi), Smith hooks his whip on a plane flying low, only to crash into a tree near a native camp, holding Smith's love interest Sally (Cheryl Guttridge) hostage. Smith scares some of the natives off with a ventriloquist dummy, fights off a swordsman and a giant native and finally saves Sally while retrieving a pair of pants known as the "Waders of the Lost Park". Smith falls off a cliff and Sally is captured by the nazi from before, but springs a trap in the process.
