Fateh Singh (Diljit Dosanjh) is a Punjab police constable that desperately wants a promotion. Because of this, he accepts Deputy Commissioner request backed up by Inspector Singh's (Jaswinder Bhalla) to fly to Canada to retrieve his daughter, Pooja Singh (Neeru Bajwa). Fateh assumes that this will be an easy task and on reaching Vancouver starts his mission to bring Pooja back but mistakes Pooja's friend working in a parlour as Pooja herself but is dismayed when Pooja ends up being a "by the books" officer with the Vancouver Police Department who has left the parlour sometime back because of the Police Job. Fateh in order to bring her back and to avoid deputation back to India helps Pooja to convince her Mother in getting herself roped with a white man in marriage bond whom Pooja likes. Fateh Singh (Diljit Dosanjh),a mad villager is crazy about marrying a Canadian girl to get the citizenship of Canada while on the other side Pooja (Neeru Bajwa) a classy modern girl wants to go to Canada to study fashion designing. They both first meet at the passport office where Fateh asks Pooja to fill his form because his hand was injured which he was pretending because of his lack of English. They both again meet at the ing Pooja and they always have fight due to this. Pooja looks for a nice accommodation where she finds a nice house and while getting money out of the ATM, she gets robbed by two thugs. Unfortunately, Pooja has to look for cheaper place where she meets Fateh again and has to share that apartment with him. A day arrives when Jenny a Canadian Caucasian girl, arrives to the house where Pooja and Fateh are living as she is the step-daughter of the house owner. Pooja asks Fateh to propose Jenny and they both start making plans how to get Jenny for Fateh, but when fateh comes to know that Jenny is going to Africa for social service, he ditches her and poor Jenny is left heartbroken. The owner of the house throws both of them out and they work at two different Apna Chulha restaurants that are run by wife and husband, who are not together now. Fateh and Pooja soon come to know that the Apna Chulha is going to be re-possessed by the bank because of six unpaid property payments for the loan. Fateh and Pooja work out the process of re-joining the husband and wife together so that the loan could be paid off. Slowly, Fateh and Pooja start falling for each other but both of them don't want to admit it. Fateh realises that he loves Pooja when Pooja's fiancé, Yuvraj comes to take Pooja with him to India for their marriage. Finally Fateh leaves for India with a hope to bring Pooja back to his life but after watching Pooja has been married he is left heart broken. After a while, he meets Yuvraj who tells him that Pooja is still single and Fateh runs to propose Pooja and they live happily ever after. , 2h23

Jass (Gippy Grewal) fall's in love with Mahie (Mahie Gill) at a friends wedding, but she only wants to marry someone who doesn't have a family and is an orphan like herself because she doesn't want to deal with the nagging and interference of in laws post marriage. So to woo her Jass pretends he's an orphan and she falls in love with him, but when she tells her brother he forces them to marry right away or else he won't agree. So Jass marries Mahie without telling his father Advocate Dhillon (Jaswinder Bhalla), brother Goldy Dhillon (Binnu Dhillon) or his wife Diljit Dhillon (Anshu Sawhney). Now after marriage Jass tells Mahie to find them a place to stay and she finds a sublease room in Jass's own home and that's where the comedy of errors begins. Jass and his best friend Honey (Gurpreet Ghuggi) cook up several plans to confuse Jass's family so Jass can live with his wife Mahie in his own home without his family ever finding out. But in between all this Honey marries his girlfriend Preet (Khushboo Grewal) in secret because his dad Inspector Sikhander Tiwana (B.N Sharma) won't agree to his marriage but Honey tricks Preet's parents into believing that she's marrying Jass without Jass even knowing it. Dharampal (Paresh Rawal) is an atheist living in a Hindu household. He is very stereotypical towards Muslims. He starts his days with the old songs of a Punjabi Sikh pop singer Manjeet Manchala (Gippy Grewal), who has now stopped producing albums and disappeared mysteriously. As well as this, he has regular arguments with a Muslim man named Nawab Mehmood Nazim Ali Shah Khan Bahadur (Annu Kapoor) who happens to live in the same area as him. Dharampal later visits his late mother's bank vault to collect her belongings. He then finds adoption papers certifying he was adopted in 1960 and that his biological parents were Muslims. This shocks him, considering how much he dislikes Muslims, and he decides to keep this a secret. Eventually, he admits to Nawab that he is also a Muslim, and that he must find his real father in order to speak to him. They discover that his father is in critical condition due to old age, living in an senior home. The Imaam taking care of his father tells Dharampal that if his father saw that his only son has been brought up as a non-Muslim, it could cause severe damage to his health. Nihal Singh (Gippy Grewal), living in the village of Nalun tattebha is considered a burden on the head of villagers and they all decide to throw him out of the village on the advice of Sarpanch (Avtar Gill). Nihal's mother is a widow who lost her husband when Nihal was only a few years old. Meanwhile, Nihal's best friend Taari (Binnu Dhillon), who is addicted to watching girls with his associates on the Internet and print their photos out, plans an idea to clear up the whole situation. Taari says that to solve the situation he should marry Sarpanch's niece Sapna, an overweight girl, which he initially goes through with before regretting his actions.
