Jithan 2 is an upcoming Tamil horror film directed by Rahul and written by Vincent Selva. The film is a sequel to Jithan (2005), and features Jithan Ramesh, Srushti Dange, Yogi babu and George in the leading roles. The film began production in December 2013 and will release in mid 2015.

Shiva (Githan Ramesh) is the only son of a rich businessman (Avinash). He grows up surrounded by money and he is not cared for by his parents, due to his mother dying when he was a young boy and his father is business-minded and only cares about his money. Shiva and his friends are a playful bunch, they do not study and they mainly do lots of sport. Priya (Saloni), who also goes to the college (the college was created and run by Shiva's family) that Shiva goes to, is the daughter of a cow herder and a gangster Mayandi (Lal). Priya keeps her distance from Shiva, but as the film progresses it is inevitable that they become friends. Their friendship then develops into romance, but this love is opposed by both their parents. Both their parents try to separate them, they try to get them married of to different people. They eventually run away together, and a hit man is after Priya's life (hired by Shiva's father). In a confrontation with the hit-man Shiva gets wounded and defeats the hit-man, he then storms into his father's office and throws the hit-man at him. He then informs his father of his wedding in front of the district court. His father turns up with a large battalion of police officers, while Shiva turns up with a much large number of students. The film ends with their wedding successfully happening, and Mayandi gives his blessings.

The officials of the casino suspect Rande and arrest him . Karthick, with his money won in the gambling with Panda, Sathish and Priya, escape and go back home. Shreya helps Rande to escape from guards by the saying of Kumar. Rande traces Karthick and takes him to his place. There Karthick using his power to fight Rande's sidekicks and threatens Rande with his own gun. At that time a Rolls-Royce Phantom comes and is revealed that the unknown man Kumar is Kokki Kumar(Dhanush) and ask Karthik to play for him in Politics.

This movie is similar to Romeo and Juliet, a tragic love story about two star-crossed lovers. The movie focuses on the love that blossoms between an Indian student (Vikranth) and a Pakistani girl. The movie is essentially about how they must both fight against forces which oppose them. The movie outlines some of the most complex themes and problems that occur between the two state. The story alternates between Vikranth's parents searching for him, while the flashback of the incidence are portrayed along the way. Eventually, near the end, the Pakistani girl suicides thinking her lover is going to die. However, Vikranth turns up to find her dead. This causes him to break down, eventually psychologically affecting him. As time goes on, Vikranth physical appearance changed to the point where no one recognizes him. The movie ends on a sad note, where his own mother fails to recognize her own son.
