Synopsis
The film documents the 25-year history of Eric Bana's first car, a 1974 Ford XB Falcon Hardtop that he purchased at the age of fifteen for A$1100. In this film, Eric explores the central role that fixing and racing this car has played in his life and the lives of his friends. He describes it as being, "like a campfire for me and my mates". Celebrities Jay Leno, Dr. Phil and Jeremy Clarkson offer opinions on the emotional attachments that some people form with automobiles.Actors

In 1993, following the ousting of the central government and start of a civil war, a major United Nations military operation in Somalia is authorized with a peacekeeping mandate. Eddie Kasalivich (Keanu Reeves) is a student machinist working with a team from the University of Chicago to obtain clean energy from water by efficiently splitting the hydrogen and oxygen molecules. While working at home, Eddie inadvertently discovers the secret. The machine is perfected the next day in the lab and everything appears to be working and stable. Karen hitches a ride in Frank's car after hers breaks down. The violent Frank is travelling with his abused wife, on his way to sell stolen computer chips. Following a discussion, he suspects his wife is being unfaithful, leading to violence and a tragic series of events. Karen escapes, reaching a lab where a scientist has invented a time machine, and she returns by accident some minutes before the violent events. She tries to make things better, but instead makes things worse. Each time she goes back in time to interfere, she causes a worse outcome than before. Eventually Karen uses the machine to go back as far as it can take her and refuse Frank's offer of a ride in the first place. Without her interference, Frank is killed by his wife.
