Synopsis
Ce film parle des terreurs qui se sont déroulés en l'an 1360 en Iran par les groupes d'Organisation des moudjahiddines du peuple iranien. Les affrontements s'intensifient après la destitution d'Abul Hassan Bani-Sadr en tant que président par le parlement. Les groupes anti-gouvernementaux comme les Mujahideen commettent les assassinats de hauts fonctionnaires.D'autre part, les services de renseignement de Corps des Gardiens de la révolution islamique et de renseignement du pays travaillent ensemble pour arrêter les membres du l'Organisation des moudjahiddines du peuple iranien. Pendant ce temps, l'ancienne relation entre un membre de la Garde révolutionnaire et une femme des membres des Mujahedin-e Khalq qui étaient autrefois Camarade de classe .Actors

A group of Iranian troops are trapped in a trench on the front-lines. They are suffering from lack of water. Raising a white flag, one of the Iranian soldiers goes to the only spring in the region which is located between the two front lines. At that moment it is revealed that the Iraqi side has the same problem, and has also sent a man to fetch water from the spring. The Iranian group's commander is considering the situation when suddenly a mortar bomb hits just behind the Iranian front line. The commander, fearing an ambush, shoots and kills the Iraqi soldier. Subsequently, it is revealed that the Iraqi soldier was alone and that no ambush was intended. Ashamed of his actions in the light of this new information, the Iranian commander commits suicide.

The time is the early-to-mid-1960s, the height of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. An unknown aircraft approaches North America from Europe. American bombers of the Strategic Air Command (SAC) are scrambled to their fail safe points near Russia. The bombers have orders not to proceed past their fail safe points without receiving a special attack code. The original "threat" is proven to be innocuous and recall orders are issued. However, due to a technical failure, the attack code is transmitted to Group Six, which consists of six Vindicator supersonic bombers and four escort fighters. Colonel Grady, the head of the group, tries to contact Omaha to verify the fail-safe order (called Positive Check), but due to Soviet radar jamming, Grady cannot hear Omaha. Concluding that the attack order and the radar jamming could only mean nuclear war, Grady commands Group Six towards Moscow, their intended destination.

The film is set against the backdrop of World War II, during Operation Market Garden, the largest full scale airborne invasion in history. Corporal Powell (Newbon), an undercover British Intelligence officer, has been given command of a small unit of men, codenamed Matchbox. Their assignment is to retrieve a hoard of Dutch gold and art treasures, plundered by the Nazis, from a seemingly impregnable booby-trapped underground bunker.
