Synopsis
Tyler Davidson invites his college buddy Chase home for summer break on Prospect Lake. The Davidson Family appears practically perfect in every way to Chase, in contrast to his own dysfunctional family whom he is not close to. After continued attempts by Tyler to set up Chase with local girls, Chase comes out to Tyler and tells him he is gay. The family attempts to support Chase, and Tyler's father Nathan in particular begins to spend substantial time with him. Soon Nathan begins to realize that his own long-suppressed feelings toward men are resurfacing, and he has become attracted to Chase. These attractions turn in to a brief affair, which is soon witnessed by Nathan's wife Stacey and later by Tyler. Once in the open, Nathan and Chase try to come to terms with the effect of their actions on others, as the friendship between Tyler and Chase is ruined, and Nathan attempts to keep his family together. Nathan ultimately decides to leave Stacey, Tyler, and their daughter at the family's summer home, while he drives off to re-evaluate his life alone.Actors

Marie Deschamps, une jeune cégepienne de 20 ans interrompt sa session collégiale pour aller apprendre l'anglais dans l'ouest canadien. Son père ne coopère pas à sa décision et la menace de ne plus vouloir la revoir. Marie, décidée, partira tout de même. Sa copine de voyage l'abandonne dès le départ mais Marie décide de partir seule. Elle traverse le pays sur le pouce pour se rendre jusqu'à Whistler en Colombie-Britannique où elle s'établira. Les premiers jours seront difficiles, elle se fait voler ses biens et la saison touristique n'est pas commencée, ce qui fait qu'elle ne trouve pas d'emploi immédiatement. Elle se liera d'amitié avec un jeune québécois, J-F, qui habite la région depuis 10 ans. Il lui présentera ses colocs et Marie partagera le chalet avec eux. Les choses se placeront pour Marie, elle finira par se trouver un emploi comme femme de chambre dans un hôtel cinq étoiles et son anglais s'améliore. Sa quête de soi l'amène jusqu'à s'interroger sur son orientation sexuelle. Elle hésite à téléphoner à ses parents qui ne lui parlent que de sa sœur Julie. C'est à la suite d'un accident de ski de J-F qu'elle réalise combien elle tient à lui. Ayant skié hors-piste, J-F ne peut toucher les assurances et est contraint de vendre ses biens dont sa voiture, une Westfalia orange. Marie rachète la Westfalia et décide de continuer sa quête jusqu'au Mexique où elle rejoindra J-F.

Failed filmmaker Zachary Wells is convinced by his best friend and hotshot director Topher into replacing him as a judge in their film school's annual festival. Zach's one-night stand with a student backfires when that student walks into an interview the next morning calling himself Danny Reyes, the name Zach went by when he attended the school. Alan (Jared Harris) is a schoolteacher in London who also moonlights as a jazz disc jockey for a hospital PA system.
