O Teri is a Hindi comedy film released on 28 March 2014 directed by Umesh Bhishit and produced by Atul Agnihotri, featuring Pulkit Samrat, Bilal Amrohi, Sarah-Jane Dias, and Mandira Bedi. The film stars Pulkit Samrat and newcomer Bilal Amrohi as two journalists, who come across a big scam. Upon release, the film received generally negative reviews and went on to become a box office disaster. O Teri has been noted to have similarities with the 1983 Bollywood film "Jaane Bhi Do Yaroo".

Synopsis

Prantabh Pratap aka PP Pulkit Samrat and Anand Ishwaram Devdutt Subramanium/AIDS Bilal Amrohi are two journalists and roommates. Their boss MonsoonSarah-Jane Dias always seems to insult them for the horrid quality of their work. She never seems to believe them and threatens to fire them from their jobs if they lie to her. One day PP and AIDS discover CBI Officer Avinash Tripathi's dead body in their car and attempt to take it to their office. However, by the time PP and AIDS have brought Monsoon, the dead body has vanished causing Monsoon to think PP and AIDS lied and hence she fires them from their jobs. Frustrated, one day PP and AIDS are walking on a bridge which somehow collapses on the highway. On the news some people suggest the reason for the collapse could be a sonic boom, no blessings or the screw driver not inserted. PP and AIDS somehow discover that the dead body had caused the bridge to fall. The police take it away from them and later they end up with a CD that could expose a corrupt politician. The politicians chase PP and AIDS into a warehouse where eventually the police arrives and Monsoon realises that the men were telling the truth all this while.

Meera Achrekar lives a middle-classed lifestyle in a Shivaji Park Chawl, along with her widowed mother; brother Manoj, his wife, Neelima, and their son, Mayank. However, Baba 3G, not wanting to lose his business, tells Marlo that his father has been reincarnated as Sackru, and Sackru is then kidnapped by Marlo. The film then takes a hilarious turn filled with dirtiness and mayhem in which, soon enough, Sackru takes matters into his own hands.

The film is a tragedy based on a tawaif (courtesan) 'Anjuman', who born from a rich noble father and a courtesan mother. After her father's death she and her mother was abandoned by her paternal family. Her mother works as a courtesan to bring her up and wishes oneday her daughter will join the same business like her. Anjuman hides her identity and tries to overcome her situation from higher education. She joins university with her family given name "Anjum Hayat Khan" and started a respectful normal life. She always dreams to leave "kotha" after her university education and want to change her ill fate. In the University, she secretly falls in love with Asif, a classmate from noble birth. Asif was already enganged to his cousin and going to marry her soon. One day, some university boys along with Asif, get to know Anjuman's real identity during a dance show and they publish her reality in front of the whole university campus. Anjuman leaves university with humiliation for good and decides to join her mother dark profession. Suddenly, a wealthy guy comes to her life as a client and this guy in fact is the elder brother of Asif. In order to save his elder brother's marriage, Asif decides to visit Anjuman's "kotha" in an "exchange" demanded by Anjuman. Asif initially hates Anjuman but later develop affection for her when he came to know because of him, Anjuman have to quit her study and join this profession. At the end, Asif tells everything to his family and decides to marry Anjuman to save her pride and give her a social respect.
