Synopsis

Lors de la guerre de Sécession, le commandement sudiste confie à sept mercenaires la tâche de s'emparer d'un chargement d'or de l'Union, destiné à payer des armes et caché dans une mine où est entreposé un dépôt de munitions. Young Jonathan Kowalski hides in a cave when a bunch of criminals kills his family. Hereby he meets a little bear. The two orphans live together until Jonathan gets picked up by a friendly tribe of Indians. Being raised as the chief's stepson he's respected and takes a squaw named Shaya. When he thinks he's got it all, the tycoon Fred Goodwin finds oil in the soil of his tribe. Une nuit, Peter, avocat de profession, se détend dans un night club Londonien. Il fait alors la rencontre d'Anna, une prostituée qu'il ramène chez son oncle chez lequel il loge. Un oncle, juge de métier, de grande réputation, et surtout très occupé alors à son bureau. A peine le couple rentré, le juge appelle, chargeant Peter de mettre la main sur un dossier important, dont il a besoin de façon urgente. Peter, de son côté légèrement accaparé ailleurs par la belle Anna, semble quant à lui un peu moins empressé... Mais voilà, qu'en cherchant le dossier Peter entrouvre une porte de placard et à l'intérieur y découvre le corp du mort d'une crise cardiaque. C'est alors qu'au sein de la maison surgit un jeune aux allures de voyou psychotique, les menaçant de son arme. Un huis clos infernal, dans lequel le couple est pris en otage, commence alors.

Ringo, a bounty hunter, has killed the father of Glenn Garvin (Glenn Saxson) to collect a bounty. Glenn kills Ringo and then takes his father's body to town to collect the bounty himself. There he befriends Gordon (Fernando Sancho in city clothes and a bowler hat instead of his usual Mexican bandit outfit), who tells Glenn that he stands to inherit half of everything in town, which his father had owned in partnership with Ken Cluster.

After the U.S. Civil War, Keoma (Nero), part Indian and part white, returns to his home town to find his half-brothers in alliance with a petty tyrant named Caldwell. Caldwell and his gang rule over the town with an iron fist. With the help of his father and George, an old Black friend, he vows revenge. Keoma also shows compassion when he saves a pregnant woman from a group sent by Caldwell's group to be quarantined in a mine camp full of plague victims. Keoma is constantly visited by the apparition of an older woman ("The Witch") who saved him during the massacre of an Indian camp.

Tedeum and his parents and granddad are all con men travelling around in a sailboat on wheels. When he inherits a mine from another well-known con man he assumes that it is false and tries to sell it. His first attempts turns out to be at the Texas’ sheriff convention and he has to escape together with another con man who is disguised as a monk. However, the mine does in fact exist, and the big boss Grant is out for it, though his confrontations with Tedeum usually ends in him losing his pants. Two female con men, the strong Betty and the beautiful Wendy, also get involved. In the end we find Grant, Tedeum, the monk and Tedeum’s father as inmates of Laredo prison – because the mine lies right under it!
