Synopsis
Un diplomate turc revient dans son pays avec sa jeune épouse française, Mireille, qui apprend à connaitre le pays de son mari. Pleine d'illusions, elle découvre la Turquie et, rapidement, toutes les règles contraignantes qu'une femme doit respecter. Fâcheusement, sa maladresse lui attire l'antipathie du sultan. Elle va tout faire pour bousculer les règles sociales strictes et la place de la femme soumise et cachée.Actors

Four teenage girls — Carmen, Tibby, Bridget, and Lena — are best friends from Bethesda, Maryland, who are about to separate for the summer for the first time in their lives. Most of the characters in the film are not named. A girl disguises herself as a boy to go attend the 2006 World Cup qualifying match between Iran and Bahrain. She travels by bus with a group of male fans, some of whom notice her gender, but do not tell anyone. At the stadium, she persuades a reluctant ticket tout to sell her a ticket; he only agrees to do so at an inflated price. The girl tries to slip through security, but she is spotted and arrested. The Women follows the lives of Manhattan women, focusing in particular on Mary Haines (Norma Shearer), the cheerful, contented wife of Stephen and mother of Little Mary (Virginia Weidler). After a bit of gossip flies around the salon these wealthy women visit, Mary's cousin Sylvia Fowler (Rosalind Russell) goes to a Salon to get the newest, exclusive nail color: Jungle Red.
